The same installation problem here. I cannot install 0.86 levels. I have installed pr 0.86 Core to the default location (as BF2 too). (C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\Battlefield 2\mods\pr). I downloaded both installation files from the torrent mentioned on official download page. I'm using Vista Home Premium 64-bit. I have also booted my comp after installing the core. And yes, my BF2 is patched to 1.41. Is it possible to open Levels package and copy the files manually to the correct place? Any other ideas?

Edit: Ok, I reinstalled the core and then it allowed to install the level package.

I'm having the same problem. I can run the game fine, but punkbuster will kick me after 5 or 10 minutes due to the corrupted level.

Exact same problem for me. I've read on here that the Filefront download is corrupt but since it's the only working link it seems like it would be a more widespread problem in the community. Is the Brit patch even compatable with a US version?

I've skipped it before and when i enter a game about 5 minutes later i get disconnected because of PB saying that the files are different. Currently im using the torrent and downloading it with limewire which will take about 2-4 hours!!!! Any ideas????????

same problem, quite frustrating.

I'm almost certain now that the file from Filefront is corrupt. I downloaded it twice from Filefront and they failed at that same kozelsk spot. I've seen many others forum members with the same problem. I was finally able to download the .856 to .86 incremental client patch directly from ModDB and it completed the install without a problem. But to get the file directly from ModDB you have to register and even then it will give the "401 gone" message most of the time unless you're lucky. The other site Total Gaming Files doesn't have it available for download anymore. PR team, please re-upload your client patch to Filefront or take that link and the Total Gaming Files link off the list to save people time and problems.

Try downloading the levels from the torrent, that way you are always guaranteed to have fully verified files before the DL finishes.

Could the kozlek level be made available as a stand alone download so me and everyone else who just ignored the file when first downloading the new patch can get the level, or will we have to uninstall- and reinstall the entire thing again

I found the FileFront patch was corrupt. I D/L it from a british server and have had no problems. Though the D/L took much longer.

Did you download the entire patch from the british server, or just the corrupted Kozlesk level.

I have DLd Full Client and Incremental .86. Ran the Patch before trying full install. When Patch got to second map, "file corrupted", ignored. Found five other maps had corrupt files in Incremental update. Tried Incremental twice with same exact error. Moved to full Client. Complete removal of PR .85. Installed Core first with no issues. Installing 'Full Client levels' showed same exact 'corrupt file' error on exact same 'level files' as the Incremental update.

EDIT: Updated punkbuster... So after PB update. When server changes to a map that was 'corrupted file' (via DL link multiple times), c2d occurs. Instant log-off and crash. It's the same for every map that was hit as 'corrupt', so I guess we need a re-upload of the files to the DL location.

actually,
all you have to do is register at modDB (doesnt take very long)
then you can download it directly from there

Same problem here, on multiple maps, using the core installer/maps (the errors only appear on the map installer). If I try to play most of the maps I get a CTD at 14% load, where the game just disappears. No message, no "BF2 has stopped working," it just disappears. Some maps are playable, but I'd much prefer to have them all.

Thank you! The project reality levels that I downloaded from modDB worked perfectly when the one from FileFront was corrupted.
