We still have the EU server which has now been upgraded, and is running again ;)

This new server aimed at North American players, but most European players still get great ping to it.

Had some great rounds on this server this evening although my team lost most of the rounds. Great to see a server that takes mumble serious. It affects the players to do so too. I was getting kind of tired of PR because there seems to be a tendense of players doing there own thing. But teamwork is the key word for this server, so thanks. I'll see you soon!
Just one remark: Squadleaders still need to be better at joining the sqleader channels.

[DM] pwned the server tonight :D

Only thing I have noticed really is the number of times Operation Archer appears. Whilst this is a great map it seems that it gets played almost every night, and a little variety never hurt anyone. Refreshing to see a server running Assault on Mestia though, great, interesting map that is sadly underplayed for some reason, so good stuff.

The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

Best r server by far, the only thing i loathe is that even when theres 40 people on the server we play smirmish or maps like qwai river and operation archer. Id suggest admins take a look at the poll on the forums showing people favourites map and use them to help fill the server quickly.

Thanks for all the great feedback :-D

I'll try and cut back on the skirmish maps - really they're a habit, from when the server was being established, but I think we have enough of a loyal following now, to seriously cut back on them.

The "same map every night" issue, is quite common on most servers I think. People ask for variation, but then when certain maps come up in the rotation, they leave (or lots of other people leave, and then they leave too, due to lack of players) I will try and mix it up a bit more, and I think that this will get easier to do, as the server attracts more and more quality players.

Lastly, a quick reminder - the EU Reality Teamwork server is passworded now, all weekend, every weekend.

I probably had one of my top 10 ever rounds last night, my squad just pwned so hard it wasn't even funny!

Whoever was sniping from the fortress, jesus christ man you were good.

only problems of the night were:

1) possibly imbalanced teams, the opposite team only had one person on squad leader radio on Muttrah. But tbh thats the team's fault, but possibly squad leaders needed moving in to the SL channel because they couldn't alt tab.

2) out of gamers wanting long discussions about a question "does mumble overlay work" "Doesn't always, I recommend you turn it off" then he wants a bleeding essay on it, so we just tell him to shut up lol, he leaves ina huff going "you'll get yours" a mumble admin needed to just mute him really.

3) there were certain abusive individuals on last night. I won't mention names, but the chat logs are self explanatory. They were going on how they didn't want to use mumble, so we told them to go elsewhere...and they had a hissy fit, and were going on saying "we populate RR servers and you want to kick us? *rant rant, swear swear*"

In a way it was flattering for the server, since they couldn't bear to leave the high level of teamwork we had established, but when they say things like "why don't you use something everyone has like TS?" between swearing at us, its time for banhammer.

OH! and something is up with teh Python, flags weren't showing for me unless they were my teams/neutralised by my team.

Hehe - Yes since the server upgrade, the other admins hadn't been re-added to the list properly ( Thats been fixed now ). I joined the server at around the time of the abusive text, so it was sorted very soon afterwards, but apologies for it not being dealt with earlier. For some reason we attracted quite a few abusive tards last night :?

We will also be taking a much tougher line on team switching from now on, if that is what is happening. And the Squad Leader mumble channels will be getting watched much more closely, to ensure that all the SL join - and only the SL join.

May not be there for the beginning but I will drag my arse in later possibly.

Well...1 am GMT would have been this early morning for some. Technically in Europe the server launch is 1 am Saturday morning.

hehe - well we had 68 mumblers in the channel last night, so Im thinking of having a couple of passworded nights in the week as well :)

I think that there will always be maybe 3 days a week where the server is public, as its a great way of spreading the word about mumble.
