Mysterious lagg problem (Oh no!)

Good evening, lads.

Last few days I've been getting a lot of lagg when playing PR, often after one or two mapchanges. But also, sometimes on the first map I begin in.

I haven't done any changes or anything like that with my PC, do you guys have any clues about what it could be?

I know this is a hard question but I'll just throw it out there and see if somebody maybe will recognize this issue/problem.

As I said, have never had this problem before and now I almost keep getting it all the time.

network setup (router-model, direct connection, DSL, 36k-modem, how many clients)
Please describe as precise as possible when your problem hits and
what you have already tried.

what do you mean by "lag" - is it a general loss of pc performance or a connection lag?
you can figure that out by calling "renderer.drawfps 1" in the bf2 console or use other programs (fraps or xfire) to show the fps

if fps are updating and stay the same its a connection lag
