Sticky bomb for the Chechens?
Just a suggestion, but I was thinking. Since the Chechens get the MBT's fighting them, why not have a sticky bomb for one of the classes?
I don't know if it's possible, but it would keep the tank from sitting around for too long because of fear of being blown up by a timed bomb.
What's your opinions on this? I thought about it whilst watching Saving Private Ryan and thought that would be an awesome Insurgent weapon..

Find sources on sticky bombs being used by Chechen rebels in real life today and your suggestion may be taken into account.
I'm not saying they're not being used but watching a film based on WW2 is not the best place to get ideas for a modern realism game.

Their engineer should have C4 already. I mean, what's the difference, except a little range?

SLAMs!
Bad memories - it seems very vanilla-ish to sneak up and plant bombs on tanks, if you ask me.

FH2 has a sticky bomb...AirborneForever wrote:Just a suggestion, but I was thinking. Since the Chechens get the MBT's fighting them, why not have a sticky bomb for one of the classes?

Also, this would promote tactics like those seen in Saving Private Ryan...Which is basically like putting C4 on armour.

Re: Sticky bomb for the Chechens?
as far as i know sticky bombs were only made by the british military in world war two, and they wernt like on saving private ryan (/facepalm)
they were glass balls with nitro in them coated with glue and encased in a metal ball that came off. but they stuck to peoples uniforms and wouldnt stick to dirty surfaces, like robbie's kitchen.
the chechnians wouldnt have them because there was only a certain amount made within a couple of years.

I sure they could make their own if they wanted to. The real question would by "why?" You got IEDs and RPGs. Why would you make sticky bombs? I mean...we got Molotovs already. I don't see a real point of adding sticky bombs.
