Dude are you sure he didnt just have a berretta with a fancy barrel shroud? because with out him firing it it would be hard to tell mate 8)

get a bunch of you on hamachi get PRSP then set up a server so your against bots on Basra then if you know how tweak the files so they don't use vehicles and call in mortars, then hole your self up in the VCP it works epically had a lot of fun doing tht.

there are only 2 technical's which I am trying to make where only the GB team can use and they cant call in mortars

Hey I just relised all of my current changes are sever side so does that mean that people will not have to change their installs in order to play?

Based on that and the fact any attempt at me modeling will end in a farless then PR quality or honestly anything above the original doom quality. If you wanted a more civilian based one I came up a while back with decent already ingame weapons that could be used along with previous weapons from older PR. (If the DEV team still has them around.)

The list being.

Mini-14. Based off the M-14. (Thus that model could be used.) Modern Firearms - Ruger Mini-14 and Mini-30 rifle

Remington 7600. A pump action rifle based off a very similar design of the Remington 870. Modern Firearms - civilan guns for self-defense, training and hunting - Remington model 7600 rifle

SIG Sauer 226. A handgun from older verisons PR. Can easily be chambered in .357 SIG without the need to really change the model. Modern Firearms - Handguns - SIG-Sauer P226 pistol

Only really the SIG Sauer would require any work. (It was removed before 3d sights were added along with obviously the animations being old.) The rest could use current ingame models with the regular animations. (The Remington would benefit with an upgrade obviously to a detachable magazine feed rather then internal magazines.

So if you want to consider already made models might want to look those directions.

I'll tackle the P226. Besides it being in .357, anything else? I hear theres alot of varients of the 226, Railed ones, Two-Tone slides. I'll try Modeling a bare bone model.

gents, dont go overboard on weapon models. we'll be using currently existing models, for starters. i'm only looking for about 6 human kits. once those are down varients may be considered.

Well thats what I am trying to say.

Those are all used currently ingame. (Or a form of them were once used ingame.) I'm just trying to give ya a few options that will save you the work of modeling at all.

Basically just giving you common civilian arms. (I own a mini-14 and a few of my buddies have the Remington 7600/7615.)

Thats the thing. PR -had- the P226. (I believe it was P226?) ingame about what? .4? .5? Somewhere. So as long as its still on file then it won't -need- models. Hence the reason I figured I'd post it.
Since its a no longer used weapon, and I discovered they do this when I tried to use the Mk12 in PRSP, they remove files from unused weapons to render them useless. The only thing left of the P226 is the sound file.

Ok I have made a single player/coop zombie map but it requires the players follow rules to make it play right. now it is set on al bashan and the survivors start in the city and have to fight their way to the GB main base and capture the chopper and take it to XYZ to win (still working on the last part.

Ok, so i did read the other zombie proposal thread but its so old and dead i think so i decided to "Re" open :)


So ive been working on a "Realistic" zombie mod for a while but our devs etc are dieing out etc, so i decided to make a new start here :)

We also have infection script, so if someone gets killed by zombie they become zombie and cant switch back. :)

WHY?

Rifles are SO much more useful. ><

The best place to be during a zombie infestation is either a mall or a prison. Prisons are good due to their high rising sniper towers and built not to be broken into or out.

-Knives suck, butcher knives are ok, but you're cutting it close if you use one and risk infection.

-Flamethrowers will work, but will have a delayed reaction. Would slow down the zombie threat, but still would attack unless the flames reached the brain cooked it... if it only burnt the skin, you'd just have zombies that are chasing you, but on fire. Best to have a sharpshooter open fire on them, unless there are a lot, then a shotgun would work fine in this occasion. Pistols are preferred as they can be used in any situation, no matter the amount of room you have.

-There are fast zombies, but not a lot. It's a genetic adaptation.

-Only way to kill a zombie is to destroy the brain. This doesnt mean you can't slow them down though. =3 use youre imagination. traps are best

Survivors are your key to surviving, but unless you have an antidote, there's no use keeping a bit one alive. If one of your survivors become infected or have the infection and it is starting to spread through them, either kill them immediately or somehow use them as bait.

I like the work you've done, and it would be realistic for SOMEONE to have a shotgun, but not a very bright idea for EVERYONE.

=D I'd really like to help create a "reality" version of a zombie mod. =D

=) And nice work on the pipe bomb.

Something i'd also recommend for that "infected" script is something similar to a "bleed"

=) Where they're not a "zombie" but they're slowly getting infected, and will occasionally shoot the gun randomly or something "zombieish" XD that would be cool. But then if more zombies attack them, they just transform even faster, you know? like if a whole horde gets them?


(...and trust me about the stuff above... Me, my girlfriend, and my best friend have come up with a zombie survival plan XD its.... actually all done by my best friend. And he's dead serious about it. And so am I. And so is my girlfriend. > > )

Well, i have no idea how civilians suddenly can fly helicopters :P

I thought of a reaistic zombie mod where you were either a soldier waking up in their base or a civlian waking up in their homes , when the infestation takes place, so how do they get flamethrower? :p

i hope there are gona b sum scary roars and grunts to go in the mod... Plus a night map would be nice??? Hahahaha i pissed myself laughing when u said "a realistic zombie mod". But its gona b a cool idea so keep workn on it.

Ofcourse ;)

what i mean by "Realistic" zombie mod is that it wont be like mega destructive weapons that massacre zombies and its just killing as many zombies as you can, but like if you wake up one day and it has been a zombie virus spreading around, so you have to find your mates and get your baseball bat and get the hell away from there and find shelter etc.

Perhaps we can borrow the M21 and make a M1A out of them. I hear they're pretty popular along with AR-15s.

A night map with no NVGs with zombies would be scary as hell seeing that zombie model pop up right in front of you.
