I can't play PR more then once without restarting the computer.
ie.
I will play PR, then quit the program. If I try to start PR again, it will say "please insert CD", but the CD is already there... this problem is solved by restarting the computer. This is very annoying however as I need to restart the computer before I can play PR....

Sounds like some problem with your CD drivers ? Or maybe a physical issue with the CRROM ? Often these things can happen (CDRom dropping out) due to IRQ conflicts.
Thing to do is to think what you changed recently on your machine. This will most likely be the problem.

Well, I got a bigger problem now. Sometimes, the screen goes blue (no text) and the fan goes into overdrive and I have to turn off the computer from the power cord. Yay. I opened up the case and took a 1cm layer of dust off of the inner intake for the fan. Hopefully that fixes that.
