ballistic stats and targets
In the training mod set there should be statistics for the ballistics on each weapon and targets of different types scattered all over the place so people can get a good feel of how to perceive distances. And to allow much need practice of shooting skills. Plus all the different weapons that are available to both sides should be at the bases. And vehicles not being able to run over players. Some idiot was chasing and running over people of the same team and thus killing them. And it was annoying.

Re: ballistic stats and targets
Training servers are turning into a free-for-all?
Single player may/should have all weapons available but a online training server would turn into a A-AT war or worse.
Stats - not sure how that would work - good idea, though.

Trying to figure how far a target is and how to adjust the your aim, need to have an idea of how high to adjust for the shot is difficult and not know how the gun is sighted in and the bullet drop for that weapon

There's a solution to that- experience. Play the game as an Infantryman more and you will learn how to adjust fire by observing your round strikes.Mcmahon48 wrote:Trying to figure how far a target is and how to adjust the your aim, need to have an idea of how high to adjust for the shot is difficult and not know how the gun is sighted in and the bullet drop for that weapon
Also, READ THE MANUAL and use the search function of these forums.

Unfortunately, you don't have to take gravity into account if the target isn't really far away (300 meters for standard infantry weapons). No realistic ballistics yet.
User Ubaydah: "I used to play Call of Duty a lot and Battlefield 3. I am really good at those games 10th prestige, High K/d., I can kill people easily, etc. But on PR, for me, to be honest, I kind of suck."
User Not_able_to_kill: "Frontliner, you like evil man who comes to family house during christmas, takes out tree because it's too happy, so they can be just as sad as you"

Unfortunately this has been suggested before
There are a couple of training maps in production by community members
when they reach fruition, your request may be realised
but the DEVs have got loads of 4k maps to finish

Re: ballistic stats and targets
It's probably much easier to have dynamic targets, which explode/smoke depending on where they are hit.
