HE HE OK i agree i look at my score about every 5 seconds when I'm not getting shot at and that get's me killed A LOT :p but the showing the Squad K/D is a good idea too but i also think kills should be worth....nothing but destroying Enemy Vehicles should be worth stuff.

And i disagree i do go around Bragging (more of a Laughing in squad chat about how FUBAR my Bases are built, half in a wall, on a roof ect )that i build 3 Fire bases and got 7,432 Global Points and - 8,472 Teamwork points due to me having to destroy my own MG's case their not in the right spot.

But eh who really cares we all just want the Aussies and Chinook Added :) :p

Scoring system should be game mode specific.

On insurgency mode coalition scores should indicate number of caches destroyed vs. lives/assets lost during those operatios. Amount of killed enemies doesn't matter. Insurgent scores could include, for example, killed enemies, successful suicide strikes, built hideouts etc. (ins side doesn't need as much tweaking as coalition side, though)

On AAS mode K/D is more important, but scoring system should still emphasis captured/defended flags, support actions (transport, supply, repair).

what about only letting you see the K/D ratio of both teams and not individuals?

At first I say no because it is rewarding to see our stats + it helps to know if you actually kill the ennemy but actually, that could be interesting to remove the TAB stats completely so players cannot know if they killed someone pressing TAB or how many players remain alive in the opposing team.

That way scores would only show at the end of round.

But removing only the kill count. No.

Removing the ability to check your score until the end of the game would be a much better idea, the TAB scores have always been the go to system for figuring out whether or not you killed someone and takes the whole "did I.....didn't I........*worry*" that makes the kills fun.

Indeed, but as suggested above, the whole scoreboard shouldn't be removed, here needs to be a way to identify retards, you have to be able to see whos on your team, make sure you arent inviting the teamkiller with -100 points etc.

Okay, honestly, and truthfully, who plays Project Reality for the score? I certainly don't I play almost most games, I play for the experience,(Only best experience is PR/CA) and I don't really care how big my score is, but sometimes it is a shocker.

Project Reality. In the real world, enemy losses are generated statistically as an estimation. When? After the conclusion of the battle or war. Not every body is ever found. Sometimes it's just a leg. Removing the kill counter until the end of the round serves several reasons, most of them are bullshit. People will still play how they play - For kills, to be a badass snipah.

The real reason this should be done is to keep you from knowing whether that grenade you through actually killed that guy 30 seconds ago. As a SAW gunner in the real world, you fire enough rounds into a mountainside where there might be an enemy, you'll kick up so much dust you won't know if you hit him or not. He could've just ran off. This is what really happens. And that kind of uncertainty needs to be incorporated into the game to more accurately portray skirmishes. It'll keep squads from advancing as quickly, and make them do so more carefully because they're not sure if they saw 6 "kills" appear on the Tab screen.

I vote also, to leave deaths up there. It's still a good way to gauge whether or not you need to play more conservatively. Anyone besides me every checked tab to see 10 deaths, and gone, "Whoa, I need to stop bein' such a spaz!"

Although I like the current delay, the pace of the game has actually slowed down a bit and a 5 minute or 10 minute delay for scores showing up would help avoid the 'TAB to confirm kill' habit but still allow players to see how effective they have been earlier in the round.

well, as a commander or squad leader, the team k/d ratio is useful for estimating how many tickets the enemy has left

The 'Tab to confirm kill' habit is just to ... *insert something negative*.
All you have to do to know is you got that guy or not is to wait a few sec, then Tab.
Delay it even further, to make us have to go check, or live in the darkness, so to speak.

I think that every time you kill someone a star should light up in the corner of the screen, and I'd love to see a permanent league table of highest kills on screen too.

Rapid there is a reason the who killed who was taking out, in war you never know if you got a kill from just checking a magic scoreboard.
