Accuracy - taking advantage from objects

Post by fred450 »

I don't know if it's possible to code, but I'd be much appreciated if I had my accuracy increased when firing from this position (see attached picture)

I know it sounds like a small detail, but it would make deffense playing very interesting. Who ever fired even a pellet gun knows that our first instinct when close to an object is to rest our elbow or the gun's barrel to reduce sway

Thx...

I am going to hazard a guess that the answer will be... BF2 engine.

You're saying that the Unreal engine (which was obviously not designed for realism) is more suitable to realism than the BF2 engine? How come?

(For the record I knew the answer would be "no thx to BF2 engine" but I had to try...)

lmfao... I didnt know that, that is really horrible.

Cerberus, dont worry about it, all the work you guys are putting into this project is TOTALLY worth it. You should feel good about yourself knowing that you are making great strides in a game with little to work with. That goes for everyone involved in this project too.

The BF2 engine was designed to do what the writers wanted it to do, it's "what you see is what you get" and nothing more. Clearly they didn't have modders in mind when they made it.

O RLY. Well yeah, thats true. But you didnt think we didnt know we knew about them not taking steps ahead of time to give modders a lil help?
