You're OS mate....

You are running 32bit windows with 4GB RAM but with 32bit windows can't use all of it. You need to get a 64bit OS then you will see a real increase in performance. Not sure what else, maybe a newer CPU.

Also i've not had any issues with my 9800, what make was yours?

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

wow... I envy you all, my rig is... 7 years old.. Got it in 2002.

its got:

2gb of ram
512mb of video ram Sapphire
2ghz single proccesor AMD sempron 3000+

Win XP

I play PR med/low.

And im laggin like **** when i look into Muttrah and Fallujah, even on low settings...

I upgraded my PC in last year, with the GFX card, which was uber cheap. And is ok. I used to have a 128 VRAM GFX card, and i could play BF2 no problemo... But... That was BF2...

Anyway, if anyone has got a good PC to spare me?

My Soundcard is broken, so im using USB.
It starts up with an error message... And... I faill *Cries in corner*

Good thing is, its completly clean of viruses, although, all those viruses, really has proved its toll on my PC, as i guess you can understand...

HELP!

tnx thats good to know.

its an Xpert vision (i know not exactly well known)i did have it for a year with no probs than my pc went haywire and the cuase was a gpu over heat so after some digging i found out many had the same probs as me and the reason was same as stated above

maybe newer versions have better cooling i have no idea tbh.Every comp is different you may never have the problem as you may have a better case/cooling or what ever

all i do know is my radion card has a huge fan on it and the card itself is smaller than my old one wich makes me feel better lol

Here are my basic specs and the years I purchased them:
  • Gigabyte GA-K8N-SLI nForce4 939 mobo -- 2006
  • 2GB DDR400 2-3-2-5 -- 2007
  • AMD Opteron 180 dual-core 2.4Ghz -- 2007
  • Hitachi 750GB HD -- 2008
  • Nvidia GeForce 8800GT 512MB -- 2008
Everything is set on high at 1600x1200 with 4xAA. I'm running Windows XP Professional SP3 32-bit.

I bought a dell 3-4 years ago.. Now all that's left of it is the DVD drive and 2 GB of RAM. Everything else has been upgraded.
Core 2 Quad 2.4 GHz
6GB RAM
8800 GT
24" Monitor
1.5 TB
Blu Ray Drive
extreme gamer sound card

I bought new fans for my graphics card and processor a couple weeks ago.

I can run everything on high (except textures because it will crash) and 8x AA or whatever the highest is at 1600x1200.
Vista x64 (I got that a couple months ago when I got my new case, processor, and extra RAM)
