Same goes for all the new faces we have seen recently. Love to have fresh blood in here.

Special shout out goes to rud and the igi guys over the past week or so. Thanks for being class acts on the server. Hope we can continue to have great standards of play with like minded players

Took couple months break from the computer. I got back, TG's mumble channel is finally in good use and i have a auto-deploy function (made with this server specifically in mind, i suspect).
Couldn't be happier!

Agree with animalmother about the kicking. Kick the shortest person instead of longest.

The script currently kicks the players that are helping seed the server, kicking shortest would be logical cause those guys have the LEAST time invested, and probably are not in the middle of an important battle or gunning in that key vehicle or flying that transport helicopter filled with 6 guys or leading a squad, etc.

If the shortest is kicked there's no reason to join once the server is full because you will be the first person to go. The longest on kick allows non-supporting members the most playing time for each person who connects.

Besides the length of connection does not determine who is helping the team, just who's been connected the longest.

well, once you join, chances are another person will join whos not a supporting member, so your chances of staying on the server are prety high, sure you might have to join once or twice but at least your not getting kicked during the middle of combat when you have a well established squad.

Ive had many great games on TG, and I agree the player with the shortest time should be kicked.

I vividly remember being kicked, whilst flying a full heli, and also another time when I was an SL of a great squad that was helping the team alot.

Both times the kick could have potentially changed the outcome of the game, depending on how close the scores were.

I have no problem with the longest time being kicked. It allows others a chance on the server and if you don't like it buy a supporting membership. Pretty simple really (and no I'm not a supporting member, I deal with the kicks just like anybody else).

After taking 18 months off. I've only been up and playing again for about 2 weeks. But just like when I stopped playing, TG was/is still one of the better servers if not the best for PR. Like many of the people here I also dislike the kicks for supporting members but know that If I want it to stop this from happening then I should become a supporting member. One thing I might suggest is the addition of another PR server. Like you said before you have become the victim of your own success and people want to play on your servers.

Agreed. Been suggested before obviously but it may warrant more consideration. Just the other day I was playing with a TG guy on a different server and asked why he wasn't in the TG server. "Darn thing is always full and I didn't want to have to wait."

This seems to be barely used...

TG is such a large community, I am sure you guys can populate 2 PR servers without sacrificing team play and good gameplay.

In the past we may have had enough to populate two servers on a regular basis but unless both are full it would tend to be all the regulars on one and the other would mainly be pubbies. It is better to keep one quality server instead of two uneven servers.

I hop onto other servers even though I have a TG slot for a few reasons too:
I like to play with people I don't normally see on TG and former regulars I haven't seen for a while.
I like Insurgency and only have a little bit of time to play so I'll go where the maps are if I'm in the mood for it.
I like to help support teamplay in the PR community in general.
