On the US server atm, around 25% of the people using mumble each night, will be trying it for the first time.

In the first week on the EU server we had similar problems, with spam, and people struggling with their settings, but three weeks later its totally different, as people have now learnt how to use mumble properly.

These things take time, and the US server is less than a week old right now - I'm confident that it will be a far better experience in a few weeks time.

Good fun on this server. Seems that the RT servers are now the only ones I play on. Though, echoing others, when first joining the mumble channel, I tend to reach for 2 asprin.

Devs are working on inserting ear pads from your headset, into your earchannel, tests has been buggy, as some testing subjects had the pad inserted into his brain, and gave him a lower response to what was going around him. However, sideffects proved that the when the subject played PR, with pads on brain, he would feel drowzy and fatigued. Devs propose using this as an ultimate realistic excperience in PR, excperiencing fatigue and slowness of reaction, after playing and during the game of PR.

but seriously Eddie, just mute yourself.... :D

This is just about the only server I have played on for the past couple of weeks and I thoroughly enjoy it. I have seen more genuine teamwork on the EU server than anywhere else in PR except for the PRT. The US server is only just getting going, the best teamwork I've seen on there being when the EU server went down and all of the EU guys just headed straight on over, but im sure after it has been up for a while it will improve.

It is also truly awesome to be able to log into mumble and see so many people on, although I will always put myself in the waiting room whilst joining.

If i try to put myself in a special channel, like the waiting channel, and alt tab, i get disconnected from the Server :'(

And im lazy.. So it adds really.

And you know what they say, usually people look like their PCs, boxy?

Im actually really glad about RT mumble Server, its really a nice thing, sometimes, i would just join the channel, not speak, just listen to the "raw" feed of the battlefield, and surf at the same time. :D

People should decide for themselves which server they should play on. Congrats with the US server, but forcing players to switch from the EU to US should NOT be done.

And kicking players to US servers is even worse:

Nyte when you have 80 people in the Mumble Channel it's easier to send people with higher pings to a server located nearer them. That way everyone can get a decent ping..

As Fuzzy said, we had 80 people in the EU mumble channel and many had left already due to waiting too long.

Its the same every night, and yet at the same time we have 20-30 US players on the EU server, and some West Coast US players waiting for the US server to start so they can get a good ping.

The US server is one week old - we need to try and get people used to using it much earlier in the evening when the EU server is full - This also allows more newcomers to experience Mumble, by being able to join the server.

Very soon we are hoping to launch a UK based Insurgency only server, which will also give more capacity ;)

EU server is passworded for the rest of the weekend - Password is displayed in the mumble channel ;)

Also we really need more North American Mumblers to join our X-Fire group :

Hehe - in a word no.

The server is supposed to be passworded every weekend - I forgot to set the password last night, and I didnt want to restart a full server to set it ;)

Password has been on the mumble channel for the last 2 weeks - when you log in , look in the column on the left - when the password changes it will also be updated here.
