Molotov flames not showing, only since .86?

Since I've been playing .86, I've noticed that the Molotov flames do not show at all. They used to usually always show in .85. Has anyone else noticed this?

They show for me, do you have any screenshots/video for troubleshooting?

I know throwing them in dips/water caused them not to show for me in the past.

I've honestly never seen flames from the molotov if I throw it. This is kinda annoying since it's not the first time that I stumble on my flames and get hurt.

No problems if somebody else throws a molotov. I just got used to live with this feature. I'm using x1950pro if it's related to this problem

I have had flames on and off at random ever since the molotov was introduced, no matter if I'm in a vehicle or not.

Well, it's really weird considering that after I made this thread, the flames started appearing. I guess I'll live with the randomness. But I had been playing for days without any flames showing, hence I thought it was a newer problem with .86, unlike the known Molotov bug.

it happened before, usually you see others flame, but not yours
anyway, for me it happens sometimes, but not always for sure

I've not experienced this but I'll throw this out there...

I've heard that you don't see the flames if you have the officer kit, possibly cell leader. I'll have a peek in a bit to confirm that.

I have the exact same bug, I never had any problem seeing other molotov's fire, but I was also never able of seeing my own molotov's fire, since 0.86!

mm strange, it seems like i don't see flames on ridiculously empty servers like 4 people total but fine on others.

I havn't seen my own molotov flames as an officer for over a year and a half. I thought it was just an un-fixable bug....

I know that if you right click the molotovs they wont show.

I had this problem. I couldn't see my flames but I could see everyone elses, I even burnt myself one of my flames I couldn't see, to the amusement of my squad. Then somehow it just fixed its self after a few minutes.

it happens to me occaisnly it that it doesnt show but it always comes back to showing again regardless of kit.

kinda happened to me, I threw two Molotov's on ramiel and neither produced flames, someone else threw one in the same place and the flames appeared but not from mine.

Nope, i never see tjhe molo flames, although i see the molo itself.

This happens to me now in 0.9. 99,9% sure I saw the flames in all 0.8XX. Still get burned tough.
