Insted of the specialist shoots on the FB i think it should be like
1.You need to stay on the FB or very close to destroy it............
2.Shooting on it would be a little silly.
3.Incediary is ok,but still a little silly that a incendiary grenade destroys it all and not a frag.......And + Can you burn sand??????

So why not make it like this........
That you would have to go to a radio on the FB and press a button to detonate it,Its will still be there, with a broken radio in it xD But you cant spawn on it if the radio is "Deactivated" or turned off..........And it will not disseapear,it will look like a Usuall FB,just with a broken radio..........

Sorry for going Off-Topic.........

Not true. The German Army use the MP7A1 machine pistol (PDW). It fires a scaled down rifle bullet which apparently can penetrate a 1.6 mm titanium plate and 20 layers of kevlar fabric at 200m range.

Some photos of KSK soldiers serving in Afghanistan with the MP7A1:

Since it's just a bunch of little shreds of bullets being fired at you.. unless it's 10m or less you probably won't die, but it'll feel like someone put a blended up a bunch of knives and shot it at you at 450fps =P
Not true again. As previously stated, the British army are issuing loads of Benelli M4 shotguns to their frontline troops in Afghanistan (buckshot ammunition included [source]). Also buckshot isn't necessarily "little shreds of bullet". The shot itself can be around the size of pistol bullets (~9mm diameter). That's bigger than typical rifle bullets by the way.

Addeter a frag grenade wouldn't destroy a object like a fire base i.e sand bags etc. It would make a little mess but not destroy it. Thermite on the other hand just burns everything, well most things.

Hauge Convention of 1899, actually.

Shotguns are not considered to cause unnessicary suffering under the terms of the convention (Because the Allied Powers used shotguns in the trench warfare during the first world war, which they went on to not loose, unlike the Germans, and so were understandably not keen to try thier own troops for warcrimes.) Precident being set, shotguns remain a popular weapon in warfare. OCTOBER 1997 THE ARMY LAWYER
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

You can use them on 50 meters on this game, more than the AK is usefull on............

Can you burn stones and sand with a Incidiary grenade,i like my radio idea..........So you actually need to have secured it. You can throw from 20 meters................

Such thinking blows my freaking mind, dictating that some weapons are simply not "good for war" based on suffering.

This is why I'm not a leader, or very smart.

So what have we learned?
We have discovered that:
People want the Specialist or future CQC to have a larger role
Regular armies do use SMGs
Regular armies do use shotguns for breaching and CQC
People in-game would be willingly to use a CQC kit
A large part of the community would like a combat shotgun for use in-game
A large part of the community would like a CQC kit in-game
Adding a CQC kit w/ combat shotgun and SMG would add more to gameplay
This wouldn't require any modeling or texturing

Adetter wrote:Great idea, and maybe put in not just slug ammo, put in Gauge-12 too or something, cuz i really like the shotgun, but, its just 7 shots for breach slug............
a 12 gauge is a completely different thing man. Your talking caliber, rest of the guys are talking projectiles. essentially your saying 50 cal over 5.56, whilst these guys are talking incendiary over full metal jacket.

I say a good ol dear slug, also i was under the impression that the Geneva convention does not allow shotguns to fire rounds with a spread that are meant to kill. so in combat would mostly be slugs and breaching rounds only. but i can be wrong i have no clue where i got that from but it popped up in my memory somewhere.
