I searched the forum and couldn't find anything on this.
But is it possible to be able to draw on maps in PR?
Ex. Your Squad Leader pulls up his map and chooses the drawn button or whatever is there and draws on the map but only his squad members and commander can see it.
So he can device plans and tactics for his squad.
I don't know if you get my idea but I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in.
Yes, I know people might draw bad stuff on them.

Re: Draw on Maps
Not pos in BF2. Best we could do would be to include different markers, free-draw is a no-no. The map is a pretty hardcoded element of the game with only some fairly minor changes really doable.

the thing is i agree not everyone takes pr completely seriously.. just the other day my commander was using the infantry spotted and stuff like that to spell things out and make smiley faces

Re: Draw on Maps
The best way you can draw is with the icons, otherwise freehand drawing has been suggested before and most of the devs have said its not possible.

Re: Draw on Maps
honestly I don't think this is necessary. Something that could be better put to use is waypoints. have the option to set way points, and then hitting a button on the keyboard breaks the chain.
