Join Game Freeze Problem

Alright so here's my problem....

I join a random server and everything loads fine, then [Join] Button appears and I click it to, hah, join the game. So it opens the screen, I can see part of the map and hear guns shooting explosions, then the select kit screen opens and BAM!! frozen... I can't use the mouse or even alt-tab. All my background programs still work (vent, xfire) but that does me no good considering I can no minimize.

I run everything on full high. (shaders, textures, filters etc.) Significance you ask? Well I've played multiple mods where the shaders are required to be on medium. So maybe this is the case?


So is there any solution to this problem?

Hey.

Try and reset all configurations back to default in the options menu. That should help you.
