I haven't had any problem either... heck, i consider myself a 'safe' pilot since i don't do strafe runs unless there are friendly troops close to what i'm about to hit or have a laze or am sure at least the AA isnt maned and the damn AA missles or MG or whatever still manage to down me most of the time when i get hit. Only thing i've seen is that the chopper doesn't blow up like it used to and sometimes i can manage to get her on the ground if i'm low enough, but hardly ever back to the carrier.

i know you can take him down with the AT kits, but when they are flying in at high speeds, the HAT kit is usually to slow to fire properly and the lat kit requires him to be pretty close. and at that range you are usually dead...

as for small arms, i have seen them get shot out of the helicopter, but only rarely.
i saw one get killed on what must've been his 20th attack. he had been taking fire each time.

On Muttrah use the APC (BTR?) cannon to shoot down the attack huey. It helps to have a pair firing or in conjunction with an AA missile.

They are a pain to shoot down though, glad to hear they are getting fixed.

Well BTRs are AA on muttrah tbh. So many times you just charge around emtpy your main cannon into helis. The hovering cobra can get instantly owned by them.

Yeah those attack huey's are tough little buggers now. and there almost impossible to kill with SA-7, There great against little bird they absolutely annulate’s them.

But for any thing else don't bother. I got a direct hit on a A-10 today, my missile exploded right next too it right engine and it did not even scratch the paint.

I miss the day's when you could kill a jet with a well placed SA-7, I don't know why they are so nerf'd to be honest, there designed to shot down jet's sure they might not be as advanced as stingers and have as good tracking, but when these missiles hit some thing there is no way it going to be able to keep flying in a straight line.

with MGs and small arms Lead the chopper by about 1 times it's own length in the direction it's flying

[Chopper}--->______________X <--aim here

missiles just zoom in as far as you can, AA vehichles are great, if you can zoom in so that you only see tge chopper, the flares wont even bother your targeting for a second, i took down an A10 this way and 2 Blackhawks on kashan a while back in under a minute

Does it depend on distance angle and speed?

well distance not so much, speed sort of, flight angle in relation to you of course.

Distance - Not so much since by the time you can see it through your gun sights it'll be within that area where the leading should be where i've mentioned.

Speed - again as i said, lead 1x its length when its at full speed, any slower and you can compensate for it your self, but ussualy most chopper pilots fly at Top speed, or slow to the point where you wouldnt really need to lead

Angle - If they're flying at you or away at a slight angle i'd say drop the lead distance by about one half of the previous angle for every 15 degrees away from complete lateral movement.

0 degrees being - Flying right across your screen
90 degrees being - flying straight to or away from you

most of this is eyeballing, its pretty simple to get the hang of, heck just this morning on Muttrah, i took out 2 hueys and a cobra in a BRDM. 1 of the hueys by myself in under 3 seconds, the other in under 2 but with the other BRDM also shooting at it. Cobra was smoking when some *** with an AA stole my kill DX

Attack hueys are immensly easy to shoot down. A couple of days ago on muttrah we captured the US attk huey , we shot the pilot out and it landed perfectly right next to us.

you point and click, chopper goes down, depending on type of weapon and system may need multiple clicks and may need to press 'r' every now and then
