like with officer, i like iron sights/dots and would like it for rifleman at and grenadier.
would need new model for grenadier without the scope , unless devs have on in achieves for future use?

I was thinking posting exactly of this awhile back but did not post it because of the reason you already posted.
The way PR is laid out not in term of kits is this:
"Specialized" kits are issued the ironsite gun because it is "balancing" the overall kit, while infact, I believe its creates a negative connotation that most people would not prefer the ironsite gun. Rather that creating a specialty within the kit, the kit itself is trying to reflect game play behavior within the kit. "Being a medic means I'm not supposed to fight which means I'm not issued a scope
" "Carrying this H-At means I shouldn't fight which means I'm not issued a scope
" Its saying to the player that a ironsite rifleman is not going to get as much action than a scoped rfileman which should NOT be true. The kit layout doesnt issue a gun based on preference but rather by forced gameplay.
Ok so I Im going to steal your thread and resurrect my idea thread to resurrect it.

In the case for fire support kits like Auto Rifle, DMs, Grenadier and LAT, the option for either sights or irons will be looked into.

Yeah like others said specialized kits have iron sights to balance the kit out but i really hate this. When im forced (because i don't like playing it anymore) to play medic i hate having iron sights this is why i love playing riflemen specialist because it has the red dot which i love.
I really wish they could have a system like on America's Army 2 (not AA 3 i haven't played 3 so i don't know if its the same) but outside the game you could pick which scopes/attachments you wanted on your gun. Maybe somehow i don't PR could do this like maybe you could choose what you want on your gun depending on your kit. Just an idea

Yes please. Especially for AR, grenadier and L-AT. Not sure how useful a marksman with no scope would be[R-DEV]Chuc wrote:In the case for fire support kits like Auto Rifle, DMs, Grenadier and LAT, the option for either sights or irons will be looked into.

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

Just improve the kit selection screen. Right/left clicking isn't nearly as polished as having an entirely new custom Q-rose is. Then we could have even more ooptions than simply irons/scope, and include other kit details.
