'[R-DEV wrote:Rhino']what software did you use?

Magix audio cleaning lab 2005, doesn't just clean but can make stuff sound like radio messages.

click here to here a further filtered radio comms chatter

Click here to listen to Sitrep-Final

Supplies ready (but with some unfortunate echo near the end)

lol, the big problem as soon as you shout the type of mic I have and it sounds like you also have mav gets very distorted when it goes into high pithced and louad sounds. Ive only listend to the .wav format ones you did before but they kept on going really bad in places and didnt sound grate when you when you where shouting because of this factor. What i was trying to get away from when doing mine ;)

they .wavs are now they've been through a proper audio cleaner program!!! are they up here yet to listen to or didn't you think they were worth using?

Rhino, you are going to have to make a lot of editing to your voice to get acceptable voiceovers, it's not-suited to this type of thing i'm afraid.

@ MrD

i dunno if i can get my hands on the british voiceovers, that decides the PR team, but if i do it, i need BLANK, dry records. in 44khz, 16bit mono .wav or, if you can do that, .flac files. no ogg, no mp3 or other not lossless compression.
just record it, we do the right sound with them.. ;)

All different :P What exactly are you looking for?
Hold on there now! The Irish aren't British, i think we established back in 1920 :)

But there are many Irish people in the British army and if you want a variation on the same old voice i would gladly lend ye my irish accent. Must i PM ye or ye PM me?

aaargh! that means that you will have pure, undiluted voices so that will have to be handled by rarred up rapideshare files with password protection to avoid the community at large grabbing and turning anyone into the next Star Wars Kid

Irish Home Rule act on statue books in 1914, suspended till end of war! WITH an exeption for Ulster. And so we still get NI's fighting in Brit army

(I dont know if i get what your saying) Thats only Home Rule, we were still under the British Monarchy. Full independence came in the 1920's with the war of independence.

But i think i've gone off topic. Need an irish voice?
