Automatic Rifleman kits

Post by Naruto-kun »

This is a very simple suggestion

The AR(Automatic Rifleman) kit is my dedicated favorite kit, i've been using it since 0.75, and i seen its changes. But! in 0.86 a huge change came: The Scoped AR! now this new AR was simply one thing: EPIC! but i had to say good bye to my old AR, which had Iron Sights.

So here is my Suggestion: Two AR Kits

Iron Sights AR, for the more CQB oriented

and

Scoped AR, for the more long-range suppresion oriented.

The only thing though is how this kit will be availiable since i doubt there's hardly any space left on the kit selection.

Yours sincerely, Naruto-kun, AR user since 0.75 :)

honestly the old AR with iron sights was **** in close quarters. You couldnt even see what you were shooting at. The undelpoyed mode is actually really useful in supressing and ive killed alot of enemys with it.

As for the Iron Sight version as i forgot to mention: Yes, also a little bigger iron sight, about the size of the Iron sights to the M4 with no scope at all.

would be great if you added that :)

Isn't it already a bit overpowered without giving the user a choice of sights too?

Make it limited again imo, or make it only available to squads of 5 or more. I have said that kind of thing quite a few times though, I just prefer it when a 3 man squad of Officer, Medic and LMG isn't such a common thing.

please, show us all how this is done? I'm sure Chuc hasn't got any idea what he's talking about.

unless I'm mistaken the 'work' chuc refers to is to do with teh kit request system understanding there is a second kit to request more than anything (as well as setting up squad limitations between the current kit, the new kit etc), as well as simple things like, a new AR-R symbol maybe.

no need for iron sights when the un-deployed mode is EXTREMELY effective.

Or, you know, you could screw the "9 spawn kits = hardcoded" and do what the Sandbox/WoOkIe sniper mods did.

Otherwise, Chuch, Veii' Nice :D

no need to blind fire, "scope" in with undeloyed mode and you shoulder the weapon and make it EXTREMELY effective to like 70m

Be my guest if you think that's all that needs to be done.
