Been getting this lately when a map loads at 59 or 60%.
---------------------------
BF2 Memory Error
---------------------------
memory.dll: sanity check: block size 1073758208 (1024.02 MB) doesn't seem sane
---------------------------
Cancel Try Again Continue
---------------------------
When I click cancel, try again, or continue I get this:
---------------------------
BF2 Memory Error
---------------------------
memory.dll: all alloc attempts failed for size 1073758208
---------------------------
Cancel Try Again Continue
---------------------------
Just started all of a sudden on Jabal Al Burj. Made no changes or anything, was working fine for like 4 rounds before (Asad Khal and some other maps) and then suddenly started getting this (on all maps now).

Re: Memory Error
When asking for help,
please remember to post your:
O/S,
systems specks,
network setup
And a brief history before and after problem started.
Please describe when your CTD or problem hits and
what you have already tried.
Have you done a search for 'memory.dll: sanity check'?
Some things you could try:
Set the textures to medium.
I'm not sure why this makes a difference with high-end cards that can run games like Crysis
on high quality settings with no problem at the same res,
but for some reason it matters in Project Reality.
Trash your BF2 cache files
Path:
C:\Users\'your user name here'\Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache
Throw EVERYTHING inside the folder named cache away.
don't worry the files will be replaced with new ones when the game restarts.
Run a memory test on your ram.
Use the unlocked BF2.exe
Are you using the BF2.exe that can use more than 2 gigs of ram?
If not use it:
Firstly, you want to backup your current bf2.exe in your /Battlefield 2/ folder. To do this, simply rename it from bf2.exe
to bf2.exe.original. You should back it up in case you have any issues in the future. Now you need to download the patched bf2.exe.
This can be found in THIS zip file
(THIS one if your using the EA Downloader version)
(If you get a virus warning, ignore it, just a false positive). Simply extract it next to bf2.exe.original, and your good to go.
Thanks to R.J.Travis for the original method.[/QUOTE]
Change your virtual memory settings,
change it so the Initial and Maximum sizes are both the same value (1.5 x real ram works well). This creates a static swap file rather than a dynamic one that is changing all the time.
Hope it helps

Re: Memory Error
I have the same problem, with the same error message, the message will appear between 16% and 18% whilst loading any map, on both Co-op and Deployment.
The only difference is the Block size is 1886928700 (1799.52 MB)
Windows Vista Home 32bit
AMD Phenom(tm) 9950 Quad-Core 2.60Gz
4.00Gb RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 1Gb
I've tried the solutions mentionned above, no success.
