PR 0.856 after installing 0.86 pr.exe error

Okay.
From the beginning...

I have PR installed on an internal disk (on an xp pro) and then copied it onto a portable hard drive to run it on my laptop (as the bf2 disc encountered an error during installation).

I then encountered the "pr.exe has stopped working" which I fixed by unistalling PR completely by deleting the mod folder. I then reinstalled 0.85 and 0.86 both then launched successfully.

My problem is that when I launch 0.85 as I log in to it, it says something along the lines of (as an in game message rather than a error message)
"Launch pr.exe to run PR." (As opposed to running bf2.exe) and tells me to modify my shortcuts if required.

As I was running the old version (0.85) which as you know, runs through bf2.exe not the new pr.exe, I'm stumped as to how to get it to work.

Any ideas?

Why are you running an older version ?

You can't use the old version if you installed the new patch, and you can't use the old EXE to start the game installing .86 should place a new shortcut on your desktop.
