I've looked all over the web for this and haven't found a definitive answer.
My question: is or isn't it possible to change a soldier's kit live with python? This means adding or removing kit items while the soldier is alive, or even swapping the kit with another altogether.
I have read about player.pickup, but I haven't been able to get it to work (it supposedly adds an item to a kit to the 'active player').
Help me Project Reality. You're my only hope.

No, that's not possible. The only thing you could do is spawn a kit for him that is similar to his current kit, but updated here and there, or have him spawn with the kit you want. But that's about as far as you can go.

Ah thanks. That's a shame though.
Is it also not possible to force a regular 'pick up kit'-action on a soldier when a dropped kit is in range?
