so i no this is not the thread to post this on but the other one will not let me so here it goes..... If someone lkes the suggestion feel free to copy and paste this into the correct forum just be sure to give me some credit lol
Ok i m in the military and i would like to see body armor for coalition forces. I have seen ESAPI plates take as much as 10 AK hits... (i am not sure if the engine PR runs on can tell where the bullet hits someone and makes the right call for example can the engine take into account if a marine was wearing plates and hit in the chest no damage to him, but if he was hit on the upper side legs or head its a kill, once again i do not know if the engine can do this but hey its interesting and realistic. And for the Taliban or insurgents drugs.... I no it sounds funny but read real life battles marines engaged insurgents in fallujah and putting many rounds into them because they would not go down because they were hyped up on drugs.... Once again IDK if the engine or the PR ppl can do something like this but it would be cool.
Next automatic death when shot in the head im tired of hitting a taliban in the head and his buddy reviving him a second later and him running off to fight another day....
then, proper ballistics i no they kinda fixed it but proper bullet drop (mainly AK series weapons) they will dramatically drop after 50-100 yards no more random snipes across a map, or at least make the person aim up really high up....
also with the ballistics bullet size this should be relatively easy... if your shot with a 556 make it a 2-4 drop/kill 762 short (AK) 1-2 shot kill (if it does not hit plates) and the 308 or the 762x54r 1 drop if it does not hit plates.
for the molotovs fire, im tired of being burned to death when the fire is a floor above me and im protected by a ceiling and the flames go through plz fix
that ends my suggestions for changes to b made (i do not know of the engines capabilities and idk if the pr team can do those things but hey its my little input of the game)
new maps....
how about some africa campaigns? NATO vs rebells
how about UK vs IRA
israel vs hez
mexico drug wars? (u dont rly have to add that one but just a idea)
so wats the ppls take on this yay or nay?

Not to burst your bubble but the post limit for the Suggestions thread is there for a reason. Read through the forums, pretty much everything here has already been suggested and listed in the Already-Suggested thread.

That limit is to (attempt to) prevent threads like this. Suggestions are only to be made in the Suggestions section and the post limit gives you time to read around, post your thoughts etc. to find out about all of this stuff before you go and make a new post detailing things that have already been suggested and discussed many times.

Of course, ESAPI/Interceptor etc can take a lot of punishment. But it depends on so many variables that in the end, it becomes complete chance. I've heard several stories of one single AK going straight through a plate. A friend of mine (a former US Army Ranger) told me how he experienced this personally. He was patrolling a street in Iraq when a woman, hiding an AK under her dress, took aim from behind him and shot. The round went straight through his plate and took out one of his kidneys.
Drugs are probably a variable, but the real problem is the over penetration of the 5.56 round. Taking down skinny insurgents is not what the round was designed to do. According to numerous AAR's, 5.56mm holes are poked in the target, with no truly incapacitating damage done unless a vital organ is hit.USMCMIDN wrote:And for the Taliban or insurgents drugs.... Thanks for the input though, experienced advice is always welcome

thats where advanced ballistics comes in like HP and the 556 tumbles and breaks when it hits within a certain range it needs to gain velocity first b4 it does this I have heard stories where ESAPI have failed but i have personally seen plates take beatings my point was it would be cool
