I like the idea of that commander UAV

I'd like to see the predator attack drone as maybe a commander area attack

actually yeah, instead of having a dome of death (if that actually still exists i dont know i've never approached an uncappable main for a while.) we'll have a sound effect for dogs barking when enemies are within X distance, and within Y distance the dogs bark and an alarm goes off as well.

The implementation of the AOR system on the Commander Screen.

Or at least anything related to the AOR system being implemented, just as long as it embeds restricted battle-spaces for the units on the team. Less is more for this community.

I know that this or any related system is exactly what Project Reality needs to ensure historical increasement in logically, organised and positive rounds with a Commander. This includes rounds with new players who havent commanded before. The reason is that the AOR system creates simple focus on all levels of the team, and it still provide the opportunistic culture some freedom of movement inside the AOR it self.

The thread describing the battle-proofed AOR system

The thread will be added more describing content.
Define irony. A bunch of guys playing PR year after year. A game teaching initiative as the prime mover.
However, in regard to EA, these guys never took the initiative.

Something that's actually doable in the time span allocated for 0.9 release, can be done in BF2 and does not require stuff like a latest game engine or computer technology that won't exist until the year 2020. :rolleyes:

So basically 10% of the stuff suggested in this thread.

Here are some simple easy to implement things that would be, in my opinion, great for .9. (I apologize ahead of time for the bias) All of the following have been achieved and tested. and would NOT require significant secondary changes to be functional. (For example I will not include the CA Javelin or Jet Aircraft targeting pod as it would require the placement of Laser Target objects on all vehicles as per CA)

~CA redone vehicle huds
~Jet aircraft Air - Air radar
~AA Tunguska auto lockon feature plus radar
~Maps featuring less of a total balance theme and more of a "balanced imbalance" where for example one side could have heavy defenses versus the other which has potent attacking capabilities (As in the CA versions of Muttrah City and 7 Gates)
~More flags in maps offering more variety
~CA Flares (Including the effect and the collision mesh signature blocking principal)
~Increase in the number of flares air vehicles carry along with the speed at which they can be deployed
~CA FLIR Imaging
~Improved vehicle physics including a reduction of the current gravity settings to the realistic value, the idea of acceleration and maintained velocity and improved suspension systems on vehicles which have one.
~Maps with jets having two of each jet

Maybe a new game mode? I read in the Private Contractor forum about someone's proposed "Convoy" game mode and that would be pretty great.

Other than that, The Kiowa Warrior heli, The Chinook heli, Large maps, New maps, Better maps, The different factions and More teamwork.

the icelandic coast guard/ the old icelandic defence force (gone as of 2004 i think)

the one woman who was in iraq as a faction for itsself from iceland...

a icelandic patch on some uniforms on some maps..=P

Selective fire for rpg (anti-infantry and anti-armour)
Flechette round for tanks
A use for the commander, maybe replace the commander mortars with a predator strike.
Larger number of spawns for iraqi insurgents
More intel for US
30% chance of death rather than wounding on losing all your health + 100% chance of death for head shot, bomb car explosion, ied explosion and grenade explosion against infantry (if it could be varied with range it would be better).

I want, Canadian Forces with atleast a few maps for them. New maps for other factions, Chinook hmm don't know what else.

give more maps with transport LB's and Black hawks, add a ranking system :) and make only decent team members( with good scores in ranking system) can fly jets!

Try not to make all the soldiers stand out as much cos it soooooo... easy to see them because of their shiny textures ( i have all graphics full)
BTW make a SP 0.86, make a convoy moded and SP convoy (Sniper) :) for training , add some training tips for noobs, Give me sniper rights on every map!, I LOVE Blackhawks! and make more than 2 maps have jets and heli's and stuff :) is the transport LB even possible anymore i dont think its on any maps now just attack ones....oh and let us tell where we are getting fired at on radar on jets like electro and put that on To SP kashan desert cos i get owned every time cos no one can laser targets and i cant practise so i cant have the confidence to get in one in MP and make sp bots laze targets :) or make lazes come up on map
