I'd say PB hates you, me, and every other PR player
About the CTD, go to your PR desktop icon, right click, at the end of the target/destination line, type +fullscreen 1, load up PR. It'll now start in windowed mode and give you an error when it crashes. Try google that error, as it's a very common problem.

Thats the problem, it dosn't show an error for me it just closes and dosn't show anything.
PB dosn't seem to be on my bad side as it dosn't give me any errors since I fixed it.

Re: I swear BF2 hates me...
I have the same problem with CTD. I've had the PB problem with "disallowed program/driver" for quite a while so I re-installed everything. I installed BF2 + patch, then I downloaded 0.860 core and levels, installed them and then I installed the 0.866 patch.
Before re-install I could at least play a couple of minutes before getting kicked (and I could play on french servers for some reason). Now I crash the same moment as the "Deploy" button appears in the loading screen, when the map has loaded all the way that is. There's no error message (even when I add that fullscreen-thingy in the pr.exe which some people suggested), I just get a CTD.
The wierd thing is that I would also CTD if I attempted to enter the video options. This stopped though when I added "+Fullscreen 0" in the target on pr.exe. Then I tried changing resolution and swapping between low, meduim and high settings. Nothing works.
I've also updated PB without success. It's so strange how computers can be so illogical sometimes. *sigh*
Any ideas?

Re: I swear BF2 hates me...
I finally fixed all my problems!
I re-installed my windows xp, drivers, and cleaned up my PC and now I have more commit charge, game runs smoother, and my BF2/PR is now working better than before. This is awsome ^^

Yea but I said I was missing drivers, I got an external hard drive and put the drivers on it and got everything working.
