If you have PR installed you have all the files you need and any trained monkey can put the buildings from one map on a different one but you are going to have to make a whole new village in the middle of kashan. And that is something you wont put together in one night.badmojo420 wrote:As far as putting the village from Asad into Kashan, if i had the editor files for both kashan and Asad Khal

The hardest part would re-creating the terrain or changing the town to reflect being in a big desert.(flat, no rivers, no big hills, etc)
But, i don't think it would create a good map. Kashan is good the way it is.
But as I said....you might as well just make a whole new map to do it, as Kashan tbh is pretty bland. Might as well get a new landscape, texture etc and just use asad kahl as your center.

Re: asad kashan
I didn't say i wanted to do it, only that is was very possible.
The task would be made even easier if you had the editor files for the maps. It's not impossible without, just more work.
As far as importing the buildings, you could easily import the buildings in their Asad Khal configuration with simply copying some text from one maps StaticObjects.con to the other. They might not be in the correct location on kashan, but it's such an empty map that it wouldn't be difficult to select all the pieces and move them to the center.
But, like i said before, i don't want to waste any time on this, since i don't believe adding a 3rd village and removing the bunkers would be beneficial for Kashan in terms of gameplay.

I would love to see PR make their version of wake island.
