ooo, I can have voip via headset and bf2 via speakers?

Hey guys, I found that if I start bf2, but switch my default sound device from speaker to headset while its loading, My VOIP comes through my headset, but BF2 comes through the speakers. I assume thats because VOIP is activated later than BF2 is.

Its really really really nice this way since I can have the Bass of the explosions and its easier on the ears.

Any1 else do this? and is there a more efficient way of doing it?

You may be able to reroot Bf2 voip then in that case, Ive never really looked into that fully, ill have to try it out.

I like the fact of being able to split the audio, but from my point of view any time someone talks while having sound coming from their speakers, I get a nasty dose of what they're listening to.

^ yeah that sucks a bit, but I have a good mic. Its only really bad when you hear yourself/someone else talking at the same time through their mic imo.
