Sometimes when i load the game i get this glitch

I got that when I forgot to install the BF2 1.41 patch b4 installing PR once....

could be cause for a reinstall

I've gotten that when running in windowed mode. So if you're getting it in full screen, maybe try it in windowed.

Are you using ati graphics card I have a mate who had something similar well the floor diappeared and he could shoot thriugh the floor and not a hack coz pb didnt kick him it was a setting in his ati interface turned it off and it was fine all so he was using windows 7 if this is you let me no and ill find out wat the solutions is

yea im running a 4890 on win 7

I had the same thing on my other PC with a 4850. I had to turn off AA (anti-aliasing) in the ATI control center (CCC). I just used BF2's 8x AA and I didn't get the "ice rink" look anymore to my ground texture.

But, your problem may be different as I have heard about some other bugs with ATI and Nvidia drivers for Win7. Just takes time for the bugs to be worked out.
