fatality gaming headset no mic

hey all jus got what the title says, installed all the drivers etc but still the mic wont work for pr. when i go to audio device in options in pr menu the top part is all greyd out and do microphone test and get nothing,, anybody with same headset know how to fix it

Please describe when your CTD or problem hits and
what you have already tried.

Do you have the headset selected in the system O/S?
Make sure you have the 'mike boost' checked 'on' as well.

Check your windows recoring options and make sure Mic is not muted.

also make sure the mic itself isnt muted on the line, i have the same headset and sometimes forget to unmute it. heck the switch next to the volume buttons on the line.
