Pr.exe won't respond. At all.

I've installed, reinstalled, uninstalled, restarted about 20 times now, all with the same result. I've tried everything I can find on the forum no matter how long ago it cropped up, with no difference.

I've installed the full .860 Core and Levels packs, restarted the computer and gone to the shortcut. But whenever I use it, it just doesn't respond. No error message, no loading of BF2, no nothing. The mouse cursor turns to a waiting one for about a second, then back to normal. The same happens when I use the .exe in the PR folder, which the shortcut points to. Still doesn't play.

I've installed exactly how I was told to, and this is really beginning to get on my nerves; PR sounds like a good mod.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

does regular bf2 run correctly?

did you install by the installation guide? (link in my sig)

do you hear any error sounds after you clicked the link ?

to get an error msg from bf2 you can start it in windowed mode:
change your link's parameters to "+fullscreen 0"
try reproducing the error and
then google the error message you get from bf2

open the task manager and check if the process even gets started when you click the short cut

Regular BF2 runs nice and smoothly, same with all my other mods.

Yes, I installed via the guide.
No sounds are heard.
No error messages even in windowed mode, since the thing never even starts up for me to get an error message. It doesn't do anything at all.
And the process isn't begun, I already checked that.

When asking for help,
please remember to post your:
O/S,
systems specks,
network setup
And a brief history before and after problem started.
Please describe when your CTD or problem hits and
what you have already tried.

What happens when your go into the PR folder
Path:C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr
and click on PR.exe to start it?

Do you have DEP (data execution prevention) set for all programs or just essential ?
Path: settings\control panel\system\advanced system settings\system protection(tab)

If you have it set to all and you don't have a exception for PR.exe it will stop the program from running.
Note you should have gotten a pop up window telling you the program was blocked tho.
All I can think of.
Please provide more to go on.
