For which we already paid. I paid full price on release to support their game, but I'm not gonna support their cashcow milking tactics and buy their "have a few skins" booster packs. Besides not until they release a hotfix for BF2, 1.3 broke my BF2 and RPMM :( Needless to say I'm not saying anything bad about AF just yet, I'll hear what people have to say first, but I am rather sceptical after forking out for EF.

I bought SF and feel like an idiot. I don't understand why anyone who plays PR would still play these explansion/booster packs I'm not tooting the PR horn, but really, it just makes no sense to me, i dont think im allowed to fully speak my mind :mrgreen:

I like it that they made BF2. But I can't say I still support EA. They have like thousands of employees and yet they managed to release a game with many bugs. And then the patches to fix the bugs made 50 other bugs. And then another patch to fix the failed patch made other bugs again. I enjoyed Special Forces but Euroforces is just a total waste of money. I was SO dissappointed with it. And the latest patch was just a joke. After 6 reinstalls BF2 finally worked for me. I had like 50 crash to desktops the last few weeks and the favourite server I play on crashed every 60 minutes. They are just moneywolves. :cussing:

@ghosty

We supported Dice/EA by purchasing the Game
Reasons i havn't bought any Expansion pack

- They made the SF Weapons available in Bf2 Vanilla to force you purchasing the Expansion Pack. Just by a supid EA mistake anyone who had SF installed and played one round with your account on a SF Server could unlock them for you.

- A few new Skins and 3 !!! new Maps delivered by a Downloader Code and not even a CD arn't worth 10 Euro

- The preperations to make Bf2 compatible with the Booster Packs have caused some really wired patches and bugs we all suffer from now

- Dice/EA came to the conclusion that Mods, Custom Stuff and especially their Front Horse RANKING are competeting against their Booster Packs
So they just chop off the Mod Supporter Position by Dice and changed the
code so ABR Support is a Eula Violation

Why the F*** shall i support them anymore ?!

Agreed.

Though tbh I say much the same after buying virtually every game EA produce. Does it stop me the next time round? Sadly not :( EA = Crack for gamers. You know its bad but you just can't help yourself.

Im just saying that the crapy expansion packs keep BF2 going... after you purchase the "vanilla game" they get there money for devopment fees, filling up the bank account that they already spent. The booster packs, crapy they may be help pay for the updats and service of BF2... so we need tomake sure we do the math. If your still upset we need to start talking about Microsoft... and may I can go on about them.. wow!

Hopefully you won't require us to get this. And neither will PRMM servers.

Sry but that`s complete bullshit;
Dice has been developing the game for years, approx. 100 people were involved in development, publishing and PR work.
The game has been sold for about 1 million times, each 40$.
40 Millions...I don`t wanna know how much a coder at dice earns per month ;)

All I can say go do the math... and own your own company. If you plan to go back to school. How much did Frank make from DC when he was bought out? so add that number to your math.... oh boy Im stopping now.

they have been developing it for years... before it was sold! Who paid for that... your fairy god mother?

Well for once they should made sure the game was a tad more stable from the very beginning. There is no such thing as a perfect game, but still this had a hell of a lot of bugs to start with. Besides EA still make a mint from ranked servers and by not allowing people to use their unlocks on unranked servers they increase that demand for ranked servers even more. I really wouldnt worry about EA finances, if this wasnt profitable for them they wouldve pulled out the project a while ago.
