I know, I know, fans are whiny dipshits who will never ever be content with anything you (the devs) do.

But really.
I am a regular at RT (the dedicated mumble server) and one of those guys with so much spare time that I can actually play every night.

So all should be well, what am I bitching about?

You see the problem is that its getting old.

There is a lack of variety.

To save you all time, here are answers to the first 3 posts with solutions.

q1: Try different servers?
a1: No. RT is by far the best server, mainly bc of mumble. But also because it runs all maps with many different layers.

q2: RT should run the all of the layers of maps to get more variety
a2: That would be great! BUT, the layers do not add anthing to the gameplay, only removes something. Kashan is a little variety between layers, but most other maps just doesnt give you anything save for making the game more infantry orientated. The fundamental problem here is the lack of actual difference between the layers. Instead of just removing assets from the 64 layer to make the other layers, try adding something completely "new".

q3: Get a life and do something else with your time then play PR?
a3: I guess, but PR is just so much danm fun that I sometimes tell my girlfriend I have to study instead of seeing her, and guess what I do.

q4: OKAY, we get it. You love the bl**dy game, so what do you want us to do!?
a4: Whan I said in question 2, AND let some of the community made audits an integral part of the game. The vast majorty of us dont care if there are two "missons" of kashan (fx a night and a day), and we certanly dont care about the size of the files.

Conclusion:
We all love the game. But it has been to long since a new map came around and those that are around have been played to shreds, the 64 layers anyway. The 32 and 16 layers is (apart from Kashan and maybe qingling) unspoiled and most certainly unplayed as it is.

Please do something, anything,

There are plenty of threads talking about 1.5 for BF2 just out and not to update just yet as we are working on getting an update to match 1.5 as soon as humanly possible.

Im just going to go ahead and lock this as it serves no real purpose...

Thanks for loving the game though, from what Ive seen of the next update, you will love it and it WONT feel old
