my alt-tab works perfectly fine... probably depends on how crappy of a computer you have...

I'm not sure -- it was reported. I tried it out. It froze. I don't have multiple computers to try it out on.

:p Wasn't asking just you.

Anyway, seems like it depends on the computer, everything else would've been insane.

Alt+Tab works if you don't have AA enabled i've tested it. Not great but if you have the res high enough you wont need AA anyway.

This is ridiculous, they break the Alt-Tabbing then tell everyone to get over it. I also can't change my in-game setting using the Nvidea control panel :-(

The Alt-Tab problem with the 1.5 patch has been known about for months. It is only a problem on some PC and you can get around it buy turning off AA.

The reason for not fixing it during beta testing was that alt-tabbing has never been a supported feature, and apparently its in the change log from one of the early patches. :(

no anti-aliasing makes the game look absolutely **** :-(
The "We never supported Alt-Tabbing" is a pathetic excuse for not being bothered to fix something that has worked fine for the last 3 years.

Got it patched and its working well. No alt+tabbing problem to report here (although it takes about a second longer). Sorry fellas. I have 8x AA still selected in the video options menu with Nvidia CP set to 16xQ.

It is so much fun fragging so many different faces. Still a lot of nubs out there but I have seen some decent I/O players come out of the woodwork. I enjoy the renewed challenge. The slight deviation when going prone hasn't proven to be much of a hindrance thankfully. I just wished they had bothered to fix the HUD for widescreen. Maybe see some of you out there... :firing:

Why is the patch over 1 gig? Nobody really ever cared for the expansion, seriously whats the point of the big download? (I played a lot of VBF2 back in the day). I'm going to need the new VBF2 patch for PR .87 right?

This is the biggest load of bullcrap I have ever seen! This patch, honestly, does not need to break ANY alt-tab features. The main components are minor tweaks in the gameplay and the new booster packs. Their so called "widescreen update" is just simply adding the option in the configuration instead of having to manually edit the shortcut.

Now, if I want to alt-tab, I have to turn off anti-aliasing. Dice breaks things yet again...

They never supported alt-tab? Oh yeah? Well why has it always worked until now!

How long do you guys think it will take the PR team to get around this?
