I thinkg there could be some places to add some of the BF2 SF+AF+EF Objectss / buildings

yeah....
But the devs are already doing that, but now because of the release, they wont be limited due to any copy right for expansion packs objects...

the gatehouse thing from the Navy Seals night sea attack map could be interesting, but things like the Warlord Palace were just plain aweful from a gameplay standpoint.

the Carrier with open bay so you can put planes with elevator would be nice

I've seen so much stuff about Combined Arms.. =[ I even talked to CAS117 when he was in the GiB Server :)


Anywho, I'd love to see SF and AF structures in PR :]

The DEV's already had access and permission to use anything from EF/AF a long, long time before this new patch came out. The problem is none of the stuff has lightmap samples so it's more trouble than what it's worth for most of the stuff.

im sure you will see some of the better stuff incorporated now that its in the patch...but...nothing has lightsamples...so only us devs who light in 3dsmax will really be able to make use of them..

The SF x-pack ( Which has most of the good stuff ) hasn't been included with the 1.5 patch ;)

Yeah, AF and EF are shite. They were just a money grabbing ploy that never worked; so few people bought them there were only 2 or 3 servers running at any time.

Lol true .... but it would be a good idea to try and use the SF carrier with elevator for any island maps such as australian forces or something could be worth a try
