My interest is more piqued by the Rifleman/Rifleman Specialist/Medic.

Personally, I think the iron sights should be taken out all together. The Army nor the USMC uses irons in active combat anymore. Optics make for faster target acquisition and and with the ACOG, easier target identification.

Quite a few soldiers prefer Iron sights than Aimpoints/EOtechs. I personally prefer (I've used an EOtech/Reflex sight/Aimpoint on a couple rifles I've shot) Reflex sights, but I can see why people would choose irons

when it comes down to medic the reason they have ironsights is to emphisise the fact that they are not there to fight. Thier there to save people.

sandbox did it..... that means its not hardcoded. Please read before you make posts.

suggested before(by me e.g, even so i took the wookie sniper mod as example, but they both have the same result) , would be a hell of a mess to maintain

really? didnt saw it, but also didnt know about wookie sniper mod...
ccharge,i know sandbox did it, i posted it... i meant can the devs do it, or should it even be ingame...
