1.41 Patch

Here's the issue.
I'll try to explain it from the very beggining.
I've got Battlefield 2 with all the expansions available, everything was downloaded via the EA download manager.
Patch 1.5 came out and of course i downloaded it. Then i heard about PR, so i downloaded the core exe + levels. I launched the pr.exe and it said i need Patch 1.41. Well okay fine, i'll download the patch again. I'm installing it. It worked fine till i decided to launch BF2.exe and expected it to be downgraded to 1.41, but nah, actually it went all the way down to 1.1.
I try to fix the problem by uninstalling everything, battlefield 2, SF, the additional maps from the expansions kits and PR. I installed Battlefield 2 first, then downloaded 1.41 patch, and tried to install it again. And no, it still doesn't recognize the patch even though it was installed without issues.
So the problem is either the patch i downloaded from realitymod.com either it's the game i downloaded from the EA software.
It looks like a simple problem but it remains annoying since i really can't wait to play this mod .
So if anyone can help me it'd be greatly appreciated.

patch 1.41 does not downgrade bf2! after applying 1.5 patch you have to reinstall bf2 and apply 1.41 patch instead of 1.5

as for why the reinstall did not work: follow the instructions in the guide (link in my sig)
you have to apply the patch after the expansions

i do not have BF2 via EADM but maybe some one else can confirm wether or not they provide a fully patched version?

The thing is after installing bf2, the installation of the 1.41 went well but when i launch bf2 right after that, it still says it's 1.1 version.

Well, where it is written, upper right corner of the menu in bf2?

run it in windowed mode:
change your shortcut's parameters to "+fullscreen 0" ie:

"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +fullscreen 0

the version number will appear in the titlebar and if it successfully patched to 1.41 it will read:
1.1.2965-797.0
