Offering constructive criticism is not being hostile. The suggestions were mostly poor as Tirak pointed out, and Tirak is a perfect example of who this mod is targeted at. And that was not constructive critism but smacking him in the ground, and i can understand why most new players say they get scared away becouse of the vets not handling them nicely and with respect like the vets threat eachother.

People are hardcoded. Giving a LAT to every squad to spawn as would make APCs redundant.. since they can be taken out that easily. Also, The Taliban already are given an AK47 with the LAT, and an AK74u (Ithink..). The insurgents are underequipped civilian fighters.. not trained, regular army troops.
3. Insurgents
a)
Please do something against people who walk over traps and drive over own mines.
They simply don’t care about that assets because no one sanction them, more they can punish mates.
It’s very hard to defend any cache with such teammates.
The solution is simple, in insurgents mode if you run over own trap or mine you should get punished with many negative points or 1 death or as message for all like "player XYZ is a traitor (idiot or whatever)".
Only with such sanction people will take care.
I Agree with them not setting off their own grenade traps.. but mines should be like the other factions
b)
Insurgents should have a medic like Taliban have, the civilian guy should used as scout, for example give him a small uav function for 50-150 m or whatever around him.
Collaborator is used great as a medic. A small UAV function would make no sense.. in .87 they get Informants anyway.
c)
Give coalition forces faster respawn times for trucks and jeeps, they should be able to pressure the insurgents and Taliban because of better supply ability of the regular army.
It would make insurgence mode often less boring.
This would just increase the waste of trucks and jeeps by idiots. They still use tickets.. And insurgent mode isn't boring. Play on a real server, and you'll enjoy it much more
4) Ralley Point
Both suggestions will bring more action to PR by let enemies meet each other more often.
a)
I think it’s a big problem, you can do what you want, the time will come where some enemies simply walk near and your RP will disappear.
I think a Ralley Point is a HQ and should be taken by firefight, shoot the guys down and then knife the RP.
Or let RP only disappear if enemies are 5m close to them.
The problem of spawn kills, this is the problem a squad and every player should deal with, now you can spawn rape too if you alone...
So please let RPs rest until they were really fought down.
Rally points are fine how they are, IMO. Just place them far away from possible enemy contacts, and its good. Having a squad spawn inside of a small building with enemy infantry running around everywhere wouldn't make any sense..
b)
There is a lack of squadleaders, so I suggest you, let squadleader make RPs with one man in a squad but nobody near him!
Nobody want forever beg mates to come to that position or to another position, they play and you wait and wait. Make a squadleader stronger, let him be creative in his tactics without beg squadmates. So a good player can stay alive and make RPs for his squad in the end best careful players will be best squadleaders because everyone want be in a squad with action and not in one on the carrier.
Then A squad leader could just drop in enemy territory, place a rally, and have his squad members spawn in afterwards. Which.. would be really stupid.
5) Points and Firebase
There are people who try to spam firebases in open because they want get points for statistic, they don’t care about safety.
Lower points for building and transport and so on, give more points for taking or defend flags/caches, taking mg out/revive people.
I wouldn't mind this.. although I wish they remove the points/kills system alltogether.
6) Pilots
Pilots are careless, how often they lose again and again helis. How often they try to land troops in front of my rifle/mg/apc whatever.
They don’t think about stealth and safe transport.
People will learn only with sanctions.
Please let a pilot who lost his heli get many negative points and (!) double spawn time of the heli he just lost, so other guy can try himself as pilot.
A carrier should have faster spawn time for boats so noob pilots would not be able to destroy a game play.
Play on a server with admins. Idiots wasting assets get booted pretty quickly. Also, more boats = more people one manning them and ditching them. You ever seen someone bring a boat back to the carrier? =P
7) MG
Undeployed MG should be less accurate.
MG is for fire support and for room clearing.
I'm assuming your talking about the LMG here.. It's getting a revamp soon. Watch the new videos with the LMG's. WAY more recoil, especially with the saw, when scoped in.
8 ) Tanks
I want big tank battles with 20-30 tanks on each side. Now kashan desert is boring but if you let everyone handle own tank/aa (like USI) +1-2 helis/jets, it would be nice. Kashan desert, kozelsk would good for that.
20-30 tanks = 40-60 players. Make a 120+ player server work with BF2.. =P And kashan isn't boring.. you just have to, again, be in the right server. This would also kill the infantry portion of kashan, which is pretty epic.
9) Maps
Need more maps with buildings, place on maps like mestia (baraccuda...) simply more buildings, something like 3 villages to capture!
Would be nice to see more urban maps.. but they're in the process. Look at the dev blogs![]()
10) Mines
Make mines like FH2 and let people mark them like there!
Mine markers will work every time now, instead of having just one in an area. Dunno how they were in FH2, however, so I can't comment on that

And I treat New Players nicely, but, as this fellow pointed out he's been on these forums for two years, and so he isn't a new player and therefore should know better. IMHO he is just a noob and is bringing up lots of ideas that will attract even more noobs to the game who constantly are using the Tab button to check on their precious precious score... Also he put down several Ideas mos of which had been put down by other people...
In FH2 when you placed a mine you can also place a little flag marking where it is (mines were invisibleish) which was also useful for putting flags where there weren't mines to funnel the enemy onto your mines

no. that is all i will day.. a death counts as a tickets, and they allready go by fast enofe, i mean think of a helo, 1 rashed helo = 10 tickets for helo+1 for pilot plus 1-7 for passengers...

nooo, there is to much at allready in my oppinion... the closest thing to this i would like would be an emplaced tow, but one time, long ago, the devs sead that was staying out.

set up a defensive area and every few minutes say something into team chat, and dont set it up near a cache, set it up on a street. put up a mine in the middle, some nade traps at the side of the streat for the ensuing battle, use them to your advantage in an ambush, not at the door othe cache, plus, if you see a nade trap infront of a random door, you know the cache is in it.
b)
Insurgents should have a medic like Taliban have, the civilian guy should used as scout, for example give him a small uav function for 50-150 m or whatever around him.
they have colaberators with a hook, medic pack, and eppipin, what else is needed
also, the uav would make no sence.. suquads would send him out in front and he would be able to communicate to the team where everything is... also, i dont think it is possible to only have a uav radar on one person, more uav radar on 10 ppl only shown to the person with a sertian kit...
c)

inrugency is not boring on a server being admined.
have trans-squads made to trans the team arround, and it will be the best game you ever play

it used to be like this, and it was fun, but ppl would put them in hard to get places, like where one squad can kill an entire team, and while the e are surrounding you, if its in a good spot, you should be able to shoot them from your rally and keep it up long enofe to move and retreat with the rally

no. the squad leader only needs him and one other to make a rally now, i liked it better whene it had to be half a squad to set one, now there is more lone wolfing then ever, and less teamwork...
this will just encurage loanwolfing by the squad leader sneaking alone to a flank while his squad fights, and sets a rally at the flank and repeats till all the e are dead....

you would be supprised how hard it is to find a fb in the open, and alot of times, the firebase in the open is actually in very good cover, as you can defend the surrounding area easier.

a pilot is only as good as the information given to him, if there is a commander, keep him informed of fb and aa locations, if not, use team chat, and lett the pilots, aa here, or fb w/ possible aa here.
if you want to keep the pilots from crashing choppers, stop telling us to go to hot zones, where we get shot trying to get into you, or trying to get out of a to hot of an area.....also, stacking time spwans, i am not sure, but i belive is hardcoded, atleast for vheicals, but the players can do it, but, w/e
plus, the helo allready punished a team alot, for having less/no helo trans for the 5 min wiat, and the atleast 11 tickets less, atleast.
7) MG

its not for room clearing... unless you wanna spray and pray.. its to heavy, and hard to control if your clearing a room, it is good for supprising fire, and thats all it should be good for.

this is impossble in game, due to there being 2 man tanks for each team, it would be at most 16 tanks, and that would mean everyone would be in a tank, on a full server.. this, no offence, would fail badly... not everyone like driving/gunning tanks.
and if you are saying one man controls tanks and gun, that is unrealistic, and means you contridict your self where in a post you tell herbii that he should watch his feet for mines becuase its real, but one man tanks is nowhere near real, i think in real life, its like 5 man in a tank.. not sure thow.

Come on guy, there stand 1 player in tank...

As politely as I can...I disagree with everything from the original post. Those suggestions all seem (to me) like an attempt to return to vBF2. Hopefully none of these ideas will ever be implemented in the game.

It is not that hard to have a supply crate close to your RP as to request LAT or whatever.
2.a For the sake of gameplay I would leave it as it is atm when it comes to LAT. APCs usage depends on players.
2.b Some cqc weapon could be given to ins RPG-man, sometimes you have nothing else but to shoot rpg at enemy soldier.
3.a It could be too much but what about deleting the option forgive/punish when you die because of friendly mine/granade trap. Or set is as auto forgive. Being dead because of careless walking/driving is a penalty itself imo.
3.b naaaaaaah
3.c nah losing/not-losing trucks and jeeps depends on people; but what about making the ticket loss penalty twice as heavy in ins mode than in AAS mode?
4.a Maybe make them more like FOBs, instead of disappearing when [the enemy] is [some distance] close, the rp should become unspawnable with a [delay] in case of the area being clear again, and when [the enemy] is [some distance/2] close then it should be overrun and disappear to prevent rp spawn camping.
4.b hell no, it will cause SQL lone-venturing while his squad is defending/distracting to set a RP for squad mates fast travel (map jumping) purposes.
5 It depends only on players, some people play for points, some play for teamwork and team success.
Now some of my own:
Ammo:
-Make Rifleman not being able to rearm his ammo bag from any ammo bags (only from ammo boxes and crates).
-Make everyone not being able to rearm field dressings from ammo bags.
IMO ammo bag should be only use for ammo/nades/epipen rearming purposes.
Combat Medic
-Give CM the second, dropable, medbag. It would be the same as RM ammo bag but it will only be able to rearm field dressings. The MedBag should be rearmable from ammo/supply boxes and crates only; 1 CM could drop only 1 TMB at a time.
HAT
-Should be given the same cqc weapon as crewmans.
-HAT IMO should have 2 zoom options, for hitting long range stationary targets. Sometimes you see a target on a ridge line but you have to use binocs to make sure whether you see it due to bf2 engine or it is acctualy exposed to fire.
-Make HAT deployed mode with long DT, crouch only, whitout a possibility to move, where HAT guy would not get any div penalties for 180 d aim movements, allowing a HAT to spot/cover his AOR.
AR
-Sould be given 1 Frag nade.
