joystick .87 problem...help

Ok first off my joystick is the Saitek Evo, it has worked in every patch till now...and let me be more descriptive the buttons and triggers still work and are responsive but both axis are not....everything is calibrated and set up properly so plz dont ask me to check it....and it is also responsive outside of the game when i try to go calibrate and such....im not sure if its 1.5 or .87 that caused the problem but if anyone could give me some suggestions i would love to hear it because flying is one of my favorite things to do in pr

I had a problem with my Logitech Extreme 3D PRO. Same deal, buttons worked but throttle and axis wouldn't. I googled bf2 1.5 joystick problems and found a solution that worked for me. Delete all secondary controls for your helicopter and airplane controls. I read that it has something to do with the new Falcon control tab. There was also a suggestion of hitting the 'ESC' key while in the Falcon Tab, but that didn't work for my computer.

I had the exact same problem and found the exact same solution. by simply removing the secondary controls for the helo and jets i was able to regain the use of my joystick. but not before crashing a trans chopper on virginia server and getting some nasty comments lol.

ok, guys, i had the same problem and the same solution.

But someone else has the problem that sometimes in mid flight the stick feels like ho wouldnt work for a couple of sec. On the screen it looked like a huge lag.

Then a min later everything works fine again. But its not kind of cool on a life server. Someone else has this problem? We had 3 in a clan that have exactly the same problem.
