Even if they could develop some sort of "rope" sticking out the back/side of a blackhawk or chinook, I think the problem would be making some sort of "winch" system to pull the rope up, and also making the rope not get caught on anything. Also, making the rope invincible to damage.. otherwise it would act like a part of the helicopter and would just explode if it hit anything xD

Back on topic, I hope the chinook can do something special, like drop 2 crates instead of 1, magically carry a jeep or other sort of small vehicles. But looking giant and sexy would be beast also :)

EDIT

Also, I see an airstrip.. does this mean jets? Please don't be like al basrah, where it's just an abandoned airport =[

How about for the chinook. you attach the Specialists' rope to the helicopter and it only appears with a hit of a button. when you want to "retract it" you make it disappear to the enviroment, and when you want to drop it, you make it re-appear.

I dont know anything about coding though :P

To be honest, I could care less about fastropes. What I see here is a great looking map in development, WHICH WILL HAVE A CHINOOK ON IT (As you can tell by my random caps lock usage, I like Chinooks).

Can I assume the runway will be the same level as the terrain (unlike Qinlings awful 4ft high runway system) and that there will be a deadzone between the end of the runway and any hesco barriers (unlike Kashan)
