Rp makes it sqad orientated - RPs plus Commander makes it Team orientated

I'd better like to have the "old" knife RP as too often RP is destroyed by accident when enemies just strolling around. I like the idea of having to search for it.

For refills you've got Riflemans ammobag. And when it comes to kits (LAT) - good Teamwork offers you Supplies in areas where you need it...

Here's the ultimate solution to Rally points, keeping the rallying aspect and a bit of "simulated realism" while still retaining relatively short "back to action" times all while making area control and logistics more important.

Keep the ability to spawn at a rally point. But only when there's X squad members within 25m of the rally. I'd suggest SL+1 or 3 others but the number's not important. This would make it possible for squads to reinforce and regroup easily while wiping a unit completely really sets them back. Also it should make people value their lives more and retreating would once again be a viable option.

If people want to go really HC, add supplies/apc within 25m as requirement for rally. And limit the number of spawns available on single rally to a good small number. Maybe even make it so that putting the rally down drains most of a supply crate to prevent spamming.

EDIT: HAAN4, you do know why the rally point gets overrun when enemies are close to it right? There is logic behind that.
and yes i kwow, why rally points get down.

but did i say our rally points are unrealist in both streghns and weekness?

Realy haan4, many people besids me must think most of what you say make no sense at all, but anyway do you think its realistic for someone to respawn in the middle of a forest to a pile of bags that some officer placed there? It's for gameplay because i dont know a whole lot of people who would like to walk from the other side of the map to the otherone just because RP's are unrealistic?

I dont know... did you? i couldnt understand really much of it like the guy above me. Just the bit about you talking about it being overrun, you made it seem you didnt understand why it happens.

Hold on, there was never talk about walking from one end of the map to the other end. That's why you still would have firebases to spawn and vehicles, remember?

The purpose here is to put more emphasis to the firebases, as they would be at least as vital as the flags are. Coordinate logistics and defenses at the firebases, take a ride from there and walk the rest or go by foot all the way... it's your choice and matter of team coordination.

Wait a second, i see where i was going with this.

He mentioned a thing (HAAN4) that made no sense. He understands WHY the rally point goes down if there are enemies near it cuz he just told us so above me. But then he still said a page ago, among some other suggestions to the RP, that we should remove the "unrealistic" downed rally point (as far as i understand, he means when the rally gets overrun), but he does agree that it shouldnt be able to be made if there are enemies around.

Ok... so.. huh? If you understand why it gets overrun, why would you want to remove that???? Make it so that it goes down only if knifed? I dont think you understand really why it goes down so im just going to say it.

The rally point is overrun by 2 or more enemies i think being within a certain range of the rally, to AVOID SPAWN RAPE.

If you make it so that the rally needs to be knifed only, then a single man can just take out anybody who spawns there.

Yes your squad could choose not to spawn on there and move its rally, but there are certain cases where you cant. Its been discussed before and the devs thought it needed that system to stop the rape, and i fully concur.

RP could use some tweaks... ITs not bad ATM, but could be better...

Maybe limit the number of spawns per rally set, and rally dissapears after that number, after that, you get the overrun message and cannot place it for the next 10 minutes or something...

So you actually achieve something by defending, not just kill them everytime they come and come and come...
