PLEASE HELP! pr.exe/memory.dll error
I upgraded my PR from .86 to .87 and I was getting this problem in both versions. It only happens when I join a game, then that game ends, and the level is changing maps, I hear an error sound and it says memory.dll has failed, then the game crashes and I get pr.exe has stopped working. Please help it is very frustrating.

1: Make sure you are running at a resolution greater than 800x600
2: Delete anything inside of cache @ [My Documents]\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache and @ [My Documents]\Battlefield 2\mods\xpach\cache
3: If you have any security software running, you may have to temporarily turn it down to a lower state, try playing with that.
4:
Download this file: http://www.etree.org/cgi-bin/counter.cg ... md5sum.exe and put it in C:\Windows\System32.
Now press and hold the windows key, then press the R key. Now type cmd and press enter. Now do the following commands, pressing enter after inputting each line.
right click in the command window, select "Mark" and highlight the hash next to *Memory.dll, then press enter. In your post, press control+v and that will paste the hash to me. My Memory.dll hash is

Re: PLEASE HELP! pr.exe/memory.dll error
And by that I'm guessing he means Controls.con.[R-COM]thepalerider wrote:Some other things you can try before you uninstall/reinstall.
Backup your BF2 folder that's inside your documents folder. Once you have a backup delete the original from your documents folder.
Try starting PR from your PR shortcut
a new default folder is created
link to your online account.
If all goes well (CTD gone) all you have to do to get your custom settings back is copy your 'control' file from your backup to the new profile folder.
path:
C:\Users\your user name here\Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0002
note: you may not have a 0002 folder so use 0001
Hope it helps
