On the UKWF front we have been under attack by a rise of hackers just resently on both servers, using sqaud hack and crashing our servers, if you think you know the hackers names let us know in our feedback thread then we can check the player out or add them to the ban list.

The way I see it, we're on the internet, the home of immature and erratic pubescent middle class twerps with no sense of value because their parents endow them with all their possessions.

As such, we are on the most insane playground the world has ever seen. As it stands, our community is pretty damned good compared to what is out there.

You must take the good with the bad. You meet some amazing people in the world at large, and you meet some real asshats too.

I like to be optimistic about PR myself.

I'm glad that there are new people joining the community. Allthough I also have noticed an increase in lonewolves, leaderless squads and a decrease in mics, there's a high probability that the "genuine" new players will adapt and learn while the impatient ADHD ppl eventually will leave. I think it's cruicial for existing PR players to approach new players with a positive outlook and try to educate them if we want a live and dynamic playerbase....

Not to touch on politics too much but with Englands current "benefit" system, this also applies to the lower and working class. They're unemployed through choice, they eat Chicken nuggets and other unhealthy stuff for dinner each day because they have little money, but because our government pays them to sit around watching Jeremy Kyle all day, they manage to afford the newest pair of Nikes every 2 months. Nice to know they've got their priorities sorted.

Thank you for clearing that up for me . I was thinking more in line of a cohesive Standard Operating Procedure, whereby, e.g., Admin seeks out the IP addresses of the flagrant offenders and bans those, while experienced SL's and their squads work hand-in-hand with Commanders to make things untenable for the smacktards; the Commander of say, the UK Forces comms with the Taliban Commander about a smacktard intrusion, and these leaders work with their teams, forcing the smacktard off the field quickly - somewhat along that idea. Standard Operating Procedure would insure that no matter where a 'Tard shows up, he'll be treated the same. I think THAT would serve to quickly change a 'Tards behavior, or send him crying in wet undergarments back to World of Warcraft or wherever he plays that ****...

From time to time I re-read the manual just to refresh my memory on certain kits/assets that I normally don't use.

I only wish, that the end user agreement was incorporated at the end of the manual, even if someone flips all the pages they are going to ingest some information.

For once I would like to see players not spawn at unknown caches on insurgent maps, or leave the area immediately if they do, as well as not lingering around just to get a kit.

Same with grenade traps, if you think you are setting a grenade trapped even if its marked and its too close, then it is.

Though being on the east coast in the U.S. I am glad once 7-8pm comes around, during the m-f work week because the influx of tween (if only their parents really knew) and immature teens subsides due to Homework.

To go along with what IED posted above - no you don't need any smack tards, I haven't been to a McDonalds in weeks but is the salat a new menu option?

i gotta say mate im quite offended by that. Im not trying to turn this into a debate about the benefits system but it's ther to help those that are less fortunate than others who can pay taxes. Most of the time it's given to those who need it and yes ther are a small number of people who abuse the system but i think if you were unemployed and unable to work you would be the first to complain if you were told to fuk off and live off nothing. Bit narrowminded IMO. I guess ur probably a Tory who doesnt relli give a toss about those less fortunate as long as ur sitting comfy.

At Sgt dad if people did try and force the smacktard off the server then that is the reaction he is looking for- a reaction. If we do nothing and ignore the behaviour and just report them or leave the server then they wont have anything interesting to put in ther vids. The only reason ppl find the films funny is because ppl give the smacktard a reaction leave him alone and they will get bored.

The only thing I'm pissed off about in this thread is the OMG! Attitude that was displayed towards a 'No Mic' squad.

Not everyone can afford a mic, they get easily broken, not everyone speaks the same language, some people have speech difficulties, others might not want to have their voice broadcast in a public place, settings problems, hardware/soundcard issues... there's plenty of reasons for No Mic squads.

It doesn't mean they aren't contributing or not playing the game properly. I for one was glad that the squad was full and had a leader with an officer kit - sometimes you see squads labelled VOIP that don't even have that.

i hate no mic squads, ive seen them numerous times and they are always spread all over the map and filled with 1337 kits. join a normal squad (maybe not one called VoIP only) but still, join a normal squad and be a use to the team.

If you can't afford a 5 $ mic, I highly doubt you can afford the base game and the internet connection needed for PR.

Well, think of it like this. The majority of the BF2 userbase is a bunch of 15 year olds who don't give 2 shits about anything except flying planes and map domination, so when they try to make the transition, they fail.

My second guess is that they really are idiots.
