What has happened to the saitek x52 control with new patch

Post by Regan »

The new patch has really messed up my helicopter control and I am not sure how to fix it. I use the saitek x52 and use the hat switch on the throttle to steer the chopper left and right. But for some reason Project reality no longer recognises it now. I have practiced flying choppers ages this way and it has really ruined the game for me. What can i do to fix this? Is it the patch that has caused this problem or could their be something wrong with my game? When i go into the control setting for the helicopter it allows me to set the buttons, but when i go into the game and try to move the chopper left and right nothing happens.

Worked for me.
This is what Dice say, (below) but to be honest I cannot take in what they mean. They say delete all secondary controls and then tell you to assign controls to the secondary colum? So wich is it, delete them or assign them? And what the hell is the Novint Falcon? Am I suppose to delete these isettings n battlefield 2 or project reality? Trusting dice to screw my game of PR up. And I cannot even start battlefield 2 anymore only PR.

The "official" solution(s) from DICE:

1) Delete all secondary flight controls related to Novint Falcon
2) Assign all flight controls to the secondary column

I know what u mean, it does sound confusing. I deleted all secondaries and assigned jet and helo controls to the main column.
