Suggestions for that Kubra Dam lookalike map(forgot name)

I have heard a lot of guys complaining about this level a lot. So I thought I would add some suggestions to help improve it in the future.

First off, the west beach flag needs to go. It is way too spread out and a pain to go from half way across the map to the other. Some will say it takes teamwork to take both which is ture, but it is useless trying to get a squad to defend one flag while another attacks.

Next, cut out the whole west side of the map and just make the map consist of the east beach, where the US could land on a white flag. Then the MEC could go and capture the city, and factory, and then head for the dam.

My suggestions for the Dam would be to flip it horizontally, so it will be parallel to the factory and east beach, which is just a little further to the southeast.

So essentially, the US will hit the beaches, and then meet the MEC at the dam for a battle. After that, whoever takes the upper hand will either go to the east beach for a beach and open sand dune battle, or head to the MEC factory, and city. I think it could make for some good city battles also since the city is very nicely modeled. Just expand the city a little city the flag where it is now in the center.

And if the US manages to take control of the city, then they will head for the MEC main to do battle out there or across the bridge. If the MEC manage to take east beach, then they can head for the carrer. Boats also need to be increased in the level.


Hope you take these suggestions into consideration, and if anyone can get me a pic of the map, I will showly exactly what I am talking about. I think it has the potential to be a much better map that utiziles(sp?) AAS the way it was meant to be. Makes it much easier for teams to have defenders because of the distance of things also.

I think 1 of the main things, apart from flag layout is to fix the spawn points. I aint looked in the editor or the files yet but I think there is only 1 spawn points per flag, and all of them are right out in the open which makes the spawn poitns incredibaly easy to camp and to block (if you know how to spawn block).

There needs to be around 5, good spawn points per flag IMO hidden away if possibal so that you do not spawn right in front of a tank capping the base.

I like Jabal, it's nice not having to worry about half of the other team showing up and killing you as soon as you turn the flag white. I do agree that more spawn points are needed though.

Is a great travel map, it has everything. I think it needs some eviorement sounds. its too quiet. it also needs some small details like little rocks and small bushes on the ground, it feels like bf42 gazala. About the flags are ok with me.


About Kubra dam, Is it posible to remake a light map at 12 o clock like on the bf2 original trailer realase? It was much better looking than the original game release.

I know you Devs made some light maps for the night maps. if so take out some flags or remake the outpost flags maybe you can call it Kubra dam 2 or Day 2 and add some little birds too. :)

For me Jabal Al Burj (god I hope I spelled that right) is the Karkand of PRMM. I love it. However I HATE the flag layout. Since the release of the map in PRMM I have fought in the city twice simply because there is always a stalemate between Factory and Dam as long as the teams are fairly even.

I would suggest that either the East Beach flag be removed so that its just a straight shot up through the middle of the map or both West Beach and Dam be removed so that the extremely well mapped city can get some of the action it deserves and so that all of the AAS handicapped individuals out there have an easier time navigating such a large map.

I was suggestioning removing the west since it is so far out of the way and it is hard for new guys to know which one to go for first and defend that flag while attacking.

i LOVE this map i have so much fun at it. This map like Muttrah forces teamwork, only more so I beleive. Since you have to travel a fair amount of distances people make sure they stick together and assualt flags together or else their whole trip was wasted.

i do agree that more spawn points should be added.

my main concern is i rarely end up at a stalemate in the city, which i have alot of fun with, fighting between the city and factory is alot of fun. andi like the east and west beach separated flags.

What i would like to see is the flags re-arranged just a little bit. Id like to see the bridge flag moved to that little village near east beach.

take out the aircraft carrier and make an uncap base on land to make it easier to win the map. It is really hard for attacking.
