PR lags badly under Windows 7

Hi,

i just installed PR and have a big problem. The framerate of the game is very smooth but every time I look in another direction my PC seems to load new textures into my working memory and so the game stands still for about 2s. very annoying.
I have 2 gig DDR2-Ram and its utilization is only by about 40% when I start the game.
Dont know what to do.

My Specs:
AMD x2 6400+
XFX nvidia 8800gts 320mb
2GB DDR2 Corsair @ 800mhz
Gigabyte MA770 UD3
Windows 7 32 bit

Got some solutions on there plus i think its a windows 7 thing because it happen to me when i got win 7 after havin good fps on XP

The thread-starter seems to solve the problem by deactivating nvidia overdrive. But where can I find this option?

My advise to you Edwood would be :
1. Get more RAM.
2. Or lower some settings. PR uses more than 1.5 GB on some maps with high settings.

Try setting Dyn light and shadows to med, perhaps 2xAA.
You won´t notice much difference in picture quality and you might get rid of those freezeups.

1.5?! wtf? ...ok didnt know that...I changed texture-quality to medium and now it runs smooth.
