Laser Guided Missiles Camera Sensitivity

Post by Punkbuster »

Hey Guys,
Yesterday I was playing PR and I was a passenger in a TRANS Huey and I was in seat number 2...
I pressed F so I got to the camera htat allows you to lase, it was very easy to keep the crosshair on 1 spot while moving because of the low sensitivity, so my point is to lower the sensitivity in the gunner seat of the attack heli to make them like the TRANS Huey Co-Pilot or less....
Try it your self... see how easier that is.

and if the following is possible, its better...
Keep the sensitivity when aiming as it is but when you shoot the missile it will get decreased...

Well we have no idea what you're talking about, and don't double post unless it's been a day and you think that it's a major problem in the game.

Elaborate, and maybe some pictures would be hugely appreciated.

Basically he found it easier to remain on target using a lower sensitivity when using helicopter based cameras.

I use a variable sensitivity mouse anyway, so it wouldn't affect me. but I expect many pilots would prefer a faster moving camera than you for the faster gun runs (which are sometimes superior to slow and steady high alt flying)

But I don't think you need to bump your own threads. All because DEVs don't post to give you a pat on the head, doesn't mean they don't read.

He means, the camera on the hue as copilot moves very slowly. Its sensitivity is very low. It seems to work for him better, and it would help for the gunner position of a attack chopper to hit a target while on the move.

All i can say to that is, change ur sensitivity when ur a gunner in the cobra to low. Same exact thing. I have DPI button on my mouse so when i need to i can raise sensitivity at any moment. Very handy at fast paced moments.

Dude, before you post unnecessary posts in his thread check it out yourself instead of writing that "we" do not know what it is about!

I think this post is great idea. The sense of the attack chopper cameras are shit and should be slowed a bit for increased accuracy

It was a week between his post, no reason shoot him down. And the idea deserves recognition because there is a debate going on about attack choppers being a bit underpowered against tanks. Hopefully the DEVS have noticed the idea and are looking into it.

I can describe it by photos or even videos.. you'll just have to try it yourself

Lowering my mouse sensitivity will work??

Yup, when I am gunning a tank and a zoom in all the way I just lower my sensitivity. I have never tried it in a attack chopper but I assume it would work.

Not trying to shoot him down, just being quite confused about what he was asking.

But now that I know what he's talking about, yes, that might be a good idea.

Right now though, I can say that the sensitivity is perfect for low zoom levels, but at the higher zoom level you will jump all over the place.
