I Got kicked - 'shut up' was the message, most immature admins Iv'e ever came across - and I've played on a good majority of servers.
All our admins are expected to have a certain level of composure while admining the server, shut up is not exactly the most "immature" of things that could have been said, while said admin could have shown a little more tact in the situation perhaps his emotions got the better of him, at the end of the day though, I'm sure you've been told to shut up before, and never considered that person immature. Don't consider it a personal attack, it never is.

First Experience
A new player had joined the round (kashan64) but was squadless because all the squads were full/locked. He said he was an experienced PR Pilot.
There were a few locked squads at the time (understandable if a specific asset which is being utilized is already at full working capacity, ie, 'CAS SQUAD' A10, jet + spotter -which does only really requires 3 players).
So the options for this new player, after joining the game were to either:
- Create a new HELI squad (against server rules) to fly the spare, inactive Blackhawk at the time.
- Create a new INFANTRY Squad - Although He Had No Previous Experience in squad leading.
- Join the (Locked UKWF 'HELI') squad to fly the Spare, inactive BH or Gun the other BH which was active and being piloted by UKWF HELI squad.
Ok so, you'd think here whats the issue, he can ask the squad leader of the UKWF squad to unlock it temporarily to let him in. Nope. Not as straight forward, the Admins contested this new player with lines such as 'we don't need any more pilots or helicopters' and 'youve joined mid-game anyway, your loss'. Now what we must establish is the fact that this is a squad leader and not the Teams Commander, so whether or not an addditional Chopper on the field would be nesessary (OR EVEN an additional gunner on the BH that was currently active would be nesessary) was his Decision, I'm not quite sure.
I think theirs 2 ways to look at this one, on the one hand no the said player (might not have been an admin) should have really unlocked his squads in the best interests of things, additionally yes he was not the team commander and perhaps should not have commented so.
On the other hand this far into the game, was 2 helicopters up going to cause the team more advantage than it was loss? Perhaps the admin was trying to act in the best intrests of the team, and really when spawning in, did you immediately think ,
"Oh look theirs a blackhawk I love flying weee" or did you think
"Mmm after checking my map, it seems half my team is stranded and asking for transport they are unable to get because the other blackhawk is already busy.

After much un-needed discussion in the All-Chat my Squad leader (of the TANKVOIP squad) suggested the new player should create a new AA squad and SOLO an Anti Air - Something which didn't alarm the admins because they had solo'd AA's earlier in the round also. The new player eventually created a squad and solo'd an AA vehicle for a good 20 minutes untill a space had opened up in our TANKVOIP squad, where then he joined and discussed the admins attitude's and how they handled the situation, both me and my SL had the same thoughts on the experience.
We have no problem with anyone solo'ing anti air vehicles. Their are 2main reasons for this,
A) They are underused, allowing people to solo encourages more people to use them.
B) 1 person can crew them and still operate the gunner, perhaps it was a oversight when the game was tested, or perhaps it was intended.
Again and i can't stress this enough, if you have a problem with an admin don't bury your head in the sand, we have both this forum and our own forums which you can visit, we also have an complaints team that was specifically set up to deal with an allegation several years ago and has remained to this day, dealing with any disputes players may have with anything relating to our server.

... There was not a single Squad named BRADLEY, so the Asset wasnt assigned to any particular squad except from the TANKVOIP squad. Us, the TANKVOIP Squad had been using Bradelys previously for the whole round, without a single problem. Me and my SL lost our tank in the field, so waited at main for Armour to spawn again, a Bradely spawned - Sp we jumped in.
Generally naming your squad correctly is what you should do, however if theirs no one else taking the assest then we have no problem with you taking them(unless you are wasting assests.)

Then what happened next is amazing, The UKWF admins, which during the whole round btw I never saw Actually STICK to one particular squad, had created a new 'BRADLEY' Squad - walked up to our bradely and demanded we get out because it was their asset. Isn't that amusing? I find it so, anyway we got out - only for the UKWF member to drive over my SL.
If you where already in the bradley fully crewed and raring to go, then the UKWF members where in no right to take the APC from you, if however they already had the squad then the assest was "assigned" to them, and only with their discretion could you take it. (Sure these players where admins again, all full clan members are UKWF tagged but not all UKWF tagged players are Admins.)

All accusations of purposful teamkilling are taken seriously and we do have battle recorder running on the servers as well as a chat log's available.

What assures my thoughts on what I have experienced is when I see other Servers being administrated correctly, wont be naming any but I know a good few, and then compare them to this one? It's easy to assemble the difference in terms of maturity. So bloody easy.
Well I'm sorry to hear this, perhaps you had a grievence with 1 of our admins/members if you did I'm sorry to hear.

This post is to simply re-assure anyone who feel's the same way, and you may think Im just a complainer but I've never had to do this on any other server/admin team. ever.
Your more than welcome to express your views whatever they may be as is anyone who plays on the server.
Finally In relation to what your quoting? Well it is several months old, and the server has been full every day since then (maybe just maybe we are doing something right), here's another for you,
