Password?
You mean your BF2 account password?
Your account has nothing to do with your key. It's completely independent. You can create as much accounts as you like and play with any key you have.

Maybe you should just regedit your key first, means :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Electronic Arts \ EA Games \ Battlefield2142 \ ergc

x9392Your CDKey in Caps without - signs

prolly also the BF2 one - same way - don't forget to reboot ;-)

This is what EA said to do in a similar case:
We need to manually uninstall Battlefield 2142 so that we can remove a possible corrupted file that may have caused this problem and restore the game to default.
Use the supplied Uninstall shortcut from the Start menu that came with Battlefield 2142 or use the Add or Remove Programs to remove the software. If you encounter difficulty in removing the game, carefully do so manually as follows:
To delete the configuration files and local copy of your account:
1. Double click on My Documents.
2. Right-click on the Battlefield 2142 folder and choose Delete.
To delete the game files (in the default location):
1. Open My Computer.
2. Open the Cdrive.
3. Open the Program Files folder.
4. Open the EA GAMES folder.
5. Right-click on the Battlefield 2142 folder and choose Delete.
6. Go to the following folder: C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information (If you cannot find this folder you may have to go to Tools > Folder Settings and click the setting to SHOW hidden folders.)
7. Right-click on the folder named {ED50ECE9-EC54-4C05-B5ED-EE4741A9F2EC} and choose Delete.
8. Close all open windows.
9. Right-click on the Recycle Bin and choose Empty Recycle Bin.
To edit the registry and remove Battlefield 2142:
1. Click on the Start button.
2. Click on Run.
3. Type regedit in the text field.
4. Click File and then choose Export.
5. Name the file Backup and make sure the Export Range is set to All.
6. Click Save; you will now be returned to the Registry Editor window.
7. Click the plus sign next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
8. Click the plus sign next to Software.
9. Click the plus sign next to EA GAMES.
10. Right-click on the Battlefield 2142 folder and choose Delete.
11. Back under Software, click the plus sign next to Electronic Arts.
12. Click the plus sign next to EA GAMES.
13. Right-click on the Battlefield 2142 folder and choose Delete.
14. Just above EA GAMES you will see a folder named EA CORE, click the plus sign next to EA CORE.
15. Click the plus sign next to INSTALLED GAMES.
16. Click the plus sign next to EA GAMES.
17. Right-click and choose Delete on any Battlefield 2142 folders.
18. Click the plus sign next to Microsoft.
19. Click the plus sign next to Windows.
20. Click the plus sign next to CurrentVersion.
21. Click the plus sign next to Uninstall.
22. Right-click on the key named {ED50ECE9-EC54-4C05-B5ED-EE4741A9F2EC} and choose Delete.
23. A Confirm Key Delete window will appear, choose Yes.
24. Close the WindowsRegistry Editor.
Battlefield 2142 is now completely removed from your system. We can now reinstall the game.

These thread are normally not productive as PR has nothing to do with CD bans. Lets keep this thread about helping and less about pointing fingers.

Moving to General Technical Support to see if its a hardware issue. If not the thread will be locked as we have nothing to do with CD banned

*takes a deep breath.
Sorry for the outburst. I do try to be polite, but people wrongly accusing me of cheating really gets on my nerve. The kittens remark in particular really ticked me off. I will try to do as you say, and I for one am honored to have found such friendly, polite, understanding (with one exception) and helpful people. Kudos.

"The supplied GUID has been associated with hacking or interfering with the normal operation of our PunkBuster software and has therefore been compromised resulting in a global ban from PunkBuster enabled game servers. We have no way of knowing who was actually playing with this GUID at the time the violation was triggered. We also have no way to know if the violation was triggered on your specific computer. Our system does not collect personal information and furthermore we have no way to attach a cheat/hack violation to a specific person. This ban will not be lifted as then the person who did trigger the violation would again be able to join PunkBuster Servers using this GUID.

To be clear: we are not saying that you cheated as we have no way to know who triggered the violation. If it is certain that no one playing on your computer ever had a cheat/hack violation triggered by PunkBuster, then your GUID (cdkey and/or game account password) has been stolen by or leaked to someone who has used it on a different computer to trigger the violation. We do not have the means to help you find out who is responsible for compromising your GUID."

In other words: you may/may not have cheated. We have thus banned you from playing ALL punkbuster-related game (I checked, BF2, BF2142 and 1942 will not start) We do not know who did it, are too lazy to find out, and as a result, you will just have to buy a new computer to replace the computer you currently have (which is less than 4 months old) we do not care about your problem, and will not get off our backsides to resolve this matter, as doing so will involve EFFORT on our part. furthermore, doing so will mean that you will not replace the games, and thus will result in a loss of profit. Have a nice day :-D

Regarding lawsuits. I am a student from singapore. as such I am not a citizen but do posses an I-20.

Alright gave you a chance to ask more legit questions but I dont see this going anywhere.

Its simple, and dont take this as being rude. Your game/CD key/hardware is banned for some reason or another. Unfortunately we PR cant not do anything for you. You have been given all the info the community knows regarding these issues. I would say hit up EA forums or Punk Buster (they have fourms?)

Guilty or completely innocent EA/PB says different. And at the end of the day they have the say.
