Actually, i've been injured when someone shot the ground in front of me a couple of times in PR... It has only happened on the carrier though.

That's only from tank rounds IIRC.
I saw a tutorial somewhere that you can kill a M1A1 with 1 round if you hit it between the hull and the turret because the round hits the tank twice. In that tutorial they also show that when they fire on a tank, that the round also hits a hill behind the tank.

I was just about to say that, vbf2 already has ricochets. Its not done very well i think, but its there.

Dunno, me and a friend of mine were fooling around in the lower deck of the carrier waiting for the APCs on Muttrah when he started shooting the ground right in front of me (like a meter). Somehow i got injured from that. I did the same and somehow hurt him aswell.

That's only from tank rounds IIRC.

Small arms, when directed against heavy armor (I do think thanks are the only things with this effect) in vbf2, at least when 1.41 was in effect, haven't seen it yet in 1.5, did ricochet. Rarely did anything get hit by said effect, but it did occasionally kill someone by bouncing rounds off the tank.
